I ran the “Old” updater a few days ago before reading this reflector. The “New” updater Version 9 was then auto installed the next time I ran Updater per previous editions. The new Version 9 runs good without having to uninstall/install. Hoping I am not missing anything by not uninstalling the old then installing the new. Windows 10, all updates. Solution was to reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 x86 the it all worked ok. [Dx4win] One Click Setup
Wanted to share something I found. A neat little program that enables me to load DX4WIN, setup a cluster connection, set logging for real time, etc. all with just a click (actually a double-click) of ye ole ham mouse. It is called Do It Again. Basically, it will memorize your mouse clicks and keyboard entries then creates a small file/macro. So far it checks out good. Plus, it is free! 73's Mack N4SS.
