I have it connected to my K2 and K1 for CW keying but I do pull the plug to run a straight key, bug or the keyer inside the K2 and K1 rigs. I have been one of the longtime guys that uses the DX4WIN program since day one. So I decided to do the upgrade but I first went out and purchased a new USB Flash Drive. I backed up the entire folder for DX4WIN 8.05 version. I downloaded the new DX4WIN 9.01 and purchased the license. A few hours later I received my receipt and the V9 license file. I loaded the file onto the computer that is on the Internet running Win 7. I then loaded onto the XP Pro computer. I then copied my log file into the V 9.01. Everything opened up fine and seems to work great. Now for the real test. I did an update on the V 9.01 on the Win 7 computer. I copied the DX4WIN Version 9.01 file from the Win 7 computer to the XP Pro computer. I opened up my log file and everything is working fine. Now I just have to go and transfer some files I use in the DX4WIN for CW and PSK to their proper location. One thing I would like to do is make the windows larger on the XP Pro machine but I have a larger monitor I can use but that will be at a later time. Re: [Dx4win] JT65 in report
I have version 8.02 and it does accept JT65 in the mode column of all the q's that import from WSJT-X. And uploading to LOTW is not a problem. There are a couple of ways to do it, but I think the easiest would be to filter for JT65, export the filtered QSOs to another log file, and do your report(s) from that file. None of the ARRL awards care about signal reports, so you don't need them for a submission. Paul has announced that he is working on a new version and it is in beta test. I'm sure he is reading the reflector and will have this import thing corrected in the new version. FWIW, I find it easier to log the QSOs directly in DX4WIN, rather than importing my WSJT-X log. 73, Mike W0VTT -Original Message- From: dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of N4QS, Dave Perry Sent: Friday, 11 August, 2017 15:28 To: 'Robert Garceau'; dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: Re: [Dx4win] JT65 in report Robert, If you import the QSOs from WSJT-X into DX4WIN, JT65 and the received and sent signal reports should show up in the Notes for this Call box--which is an incorrect mapping. You then must manually cut and paste to move the JT65 comments from the Notes for this Call box into the Notes for this QSO box. If you are entering the QSOs manually, you can enter JT65 directly into the Notes for the QSO box. Once you have JT65 entered into the Notes for this QSO box for all of your Jt65 QSOs, you can do a search by pressing F8 and then entering JT65 in the Notes box -- when you hit enter all of your JT65 Qs should be displayed. With this filter displayed, you should be able to then run reports as you want. Rumor has it that Paul may be working on a new version that will fix this problem.
