Re: [Dx4win] DXCC QSL Download - New?

2013-11-07 Thread marcelo

Hello

I´ve just noticed today that there is a new menu option on the LOTW account
status page

It reads DXCC QSL Download

Also at the bottom of the righ hand box  there is a new bullet:

* For an ADIF download with the details of all QSLs in your DXCC record
use DXCC QSL DOWNLOAD

The link leads to the same Menu Option that is actually a ADIF download.Has
anyone investigated this yet?
Is there a tool to compare and selectively fix eventual mismatches?
I have been searching for a tool that helps me determine exactly which QSO was
credited for each band / mode DXCC credit.

Maybe this is the way.

Thank you
Marcelo,
PY1KN

Re: [Dx4win] Frequency problems with Ten-Tec Orion (I/II)

2009-09-18 Thread marcelo

Pete,
a small m is for mili .. 1/1000, like miliwatt, milimeter. The capital M is for
mega.
As for units, those names derived from real names are abbreviated in capital,
but
when written it´s in small letters.
So, 1 V / 1 volt , 1 W, 1 watt
But 1m for meter, because there was no Mr. Meter. :)

Frequency problems with Ten-Tec Orion (I/II) I was working on
 converting my father's log to
DX4WIN8 format. I found some strange frequencies in his log in the
  Notes for this QSO field: 80m: 0/24KHz 15m: 0/22KHz
15m: 0/34KHz The last one of the above
flavor seems to have been made on 2007/03/05: 40m: 0/6KHz
Then they start with a different syndrome on 2007/09/22, the first one is:
40m: 0/7,009KHz 60m: 0/404KHz (probably should be 5404KHz) 17m:
0/18,103KHz The 1st and 3rd definitely look
like they should have been split frequency QSOs, but
VFO-A (or whatever it's called in Ten-Tec parlance) read back
as 0. Has anyone running a Ten-Tec Orion seen this
problem? It looks to be sporadic, so it's probably hard to debug.
And he upgraded to an Orion II, which may have happened some time
in 2007, based on the way the error syndrome changed.

Re: [Dx4win] Wish list

2009-03-17 Thread marcelo

In Custom Awards with many options (like Russian RDA), to be able to type the
info,
not having to press down arrow flipping through hundreds of districts.

Marcelo, PY1KN I believe that it is possible to have a dx4win 8.0
until Dayton. It's usual for Paul to update the program close to Dayton. I
feel good because Paul is more interested, writes on the reflector, give
replies and listen us the last time. So i will try to give a wish list with
the hope to see these feature in next release... I would like to
have... 1. A band map 2. a new packet window (more automated) 3. upload
to lotw with one button and one button download also 4. auto
update for country files 5. one more line (3 lines total) in every label 6.
Omnirig support and yes i believe that if next version
has these features must be named 8.0 At the end... there is a free
beautiful program for anyone likes digital modes called digital master 780.
It would be nice if dx4win could support this one like does with mmtty
  73.. Kostas sv1dpi
