If the root directory is the same (i.e. C:\DX4W805), then you can copy
the entire directory tree.  Or follow the upgrade instructions here:

http://dx4win.ad1c.us/appnotes/upgrade.html

since that is essentially what you are doing.

I have tested DX4WIN 8.05 under VMware Workstation 9 and Windows 8 Guest
