When you make what you want with righkt click, don't forget that you
never download the logbook layouts during update as you will loose what
you have made.

match the way I modified it in Ver 8. The help file says I can change
which Logbook fields are shown and their order:

Manage the reports that are displayed in the LogBook Window.
The report that is displayed by default in the LogBook Window can be
specified in File | Preferences | Reports / Labels.
Reports are defined by selecting a number of fields and the sequence in
which they occur.

When I go to File > Preferences > Rep/Labels I get a window saying I
am using Default Report Format "Logbook".
I understand I am using the default, but I do not see how to change it.

I see in the help files that I need to run the Logbook Window Report
Editor, but I do not see how to invoke the Report Editor.

Any help would be appreciated.

Paul,

I think you can do what you want by right-clicking in the Logbook window
and select Report Editor.

[Dx4win] Logbook Report

2013-09-07 Thread PY2YP
I wish the Logbook Report had an option: VALID BANDS ONLY. Marking his
option the Logbook Report should consider only the bands set at
PREFERENCES | STATION instead of producing all QSOs regardless of the
bands set in STATION.

Re: [Dx4win] Logbook Report

2013-09-07 Thread Kostas SV1DPI
I think you can define the valid bands (as the valid qsls -lotw, paper
qsl, eqsl) for each of the popular awards under fileawards. For the
custom awards you can also define the valid bands inside the dx4win.awd
(it is in save directory). On the first rows there is a row like this

bands=NY
Y means this band is valid, N is not valid. First N is for 160, second N
for 80, etc

The above row is from ten ten award where only the 10m band is valid

Kostas -

File/Preferences/Rep-Lab, then check your appropriate report in the
'Default

Report Format' box.

Is this what you mean?

Regards.

I select a report other than logbook in logbook window.
When i close dx4win and open it agn the program doesn't keep the chosen
report but the initial logbook.
Is there anything new i must choose in 705 version or is a bug?
