[Dx4win] Looking for Connect to Telnet instructions

2012-03-12 Thread Michael Gulbranson
Guys:

I need some direction to configure 8.05 to connect to VE7CC instead of
packet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I printed the Packet/RTTY window: Internet connection info and it
states... list of internet addresses will be shown to connect

In Preferences (set to expert) I changes both packet and RTTY com port to
tcp/ip but don't see a list anywhere for internet addresses

.a little lost.

73's

Thanks

Mike WG0M

It's better to be a pleasant surprise than a bitter
disappointment

If you're running VE7CC on the same computer as DX4WIN, then you'll want to
connect to IP address 127.0.0.1, port 7300.

http://dx4win.ad1c.us/cluster/#VE7CC

Also see the next section, Tips

You won't see the packet window until you go into your Preferences,
Packet 1 and change the TNC type to TCP/IP. Then the Packet window
should appear when you save your preferences.
