Referring to my previous post, the problem: - When opening any CSV file generated by the DX4WIN, the FR/J Juan de Nova; Europe row was left blank, e.g. the data mysteriously disappeared. - Jim found out what was causing the problem: it was the semicolon ";" between "Nova" and "Europe". Somehow the Excel truncated the rest of the line when changing text to columns. Of course this was not a DX4WIN problem.
The solution: open the CSV with the Windows Notepad, put " " around the country name, select all (CTL-A) then past (CTL-V) into the spreadsheet. It might be a good idea if the DX4WIN put " " around the country name as shown here: "Juan de Nova; Europe". May I include this into the wish list? Thank you for the help Jim. -- 73 DX de PY2YP - Cesar ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
