Jim you must count it for Serbia
Card has no sense according DXCC. Don't forget that i have a card for a
similar calll which says Bosnia but ARRL says no it is Serbia. The station
i had worked replied to me and offered himself to send another card with his
T9 call on it. I believe that some stations from Bosnia had continued to
work with old calls after 10th of May 1993 and this makes the confusion.
It's a question how dx4win country file must work: don't forget i have a
credit for that yu4 station as Bosnia (i had sent a card and ARRL never got
it back) but i believe that anyone sends a card today, ARRL will count it as
Serbia! So what dx4win must show? This is the question. My opinion is that
dx4win must help anyone makes the application for 1st time. So dx4win must
show what arrl says. Ofcourse i must change the country file anytime i am
installing it to have my records ok and this means that the country file
will not be accurate for some olders. These must find a solution as i did: i
changed the call to T9/YU4.. and i made a note in my log that i have really
worked the YU4..

Subject: [Dx4win] Question about YT4AY
I'm trying to fix a problem in the DX4WIN Country file.
Has *anyone* received DXCC Credit for YT4AY after 10 May 1993, and was
the credit given for Serbia or Bosnia? Don't rely on the award flags
in DX4WIN, check your paper records if you have them. DX4WIN counts
this as Bosnia (E7/T9) but I really think it should be Serbia, YU as
at least one person claims he has received DXCC credit for Serbia for
that call. The DXCC desk says:
YU4 - Oct 10, 1991 to May 10, 1993
T9 - May 11, 1993 through August 7, 2007
E7- Current prefix effective August 8, 2007
