[Dx4win] Re-loaded version 8.05 now packet window spot time not correct
I had to re-load DX4WIN version 8.05 yesterday due to a HD failure and now I cannot get the packet spots received to indicate the arrival instead of the actual time. I right clicked on the packet window and highlighted SORT and chose arrival as I always did and the spots indicate the actual time in hours, minutes. In the past when I chose ARRIVAL it would indicate the aged minutes the spot was received. I still have 8.04 on the computer and tried it and it acts fine in this regard. How do I get this function back? Thanks. Export your 8.04 preferences to a .INI file, then import that file into your 8.05 preferences. See if that fixes the problem. -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

Re: [Dx4win] Re-loaded version 8.05 now packet window spot time not correct
George, The setting is in File | Preferences | Packet2. Check the box for Show age of spots. This makes the spots show up with the number of minutes since it was posted, not the time. 73, Craig, K0CF Date: Mon, 21 Mar 2011 07:30:22 -0400 From: george goofy...@rochester.rr.com Subject: [Dx4win] Re-loaded version 8.05 now packet window spot time not correct To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Message-ID: 009701cbe7bb$5d8c0870$18a41950$@rr.com Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii I had to re-load DX4WIN version 8.05 yesterday due to a HD failure and now I cannot get the packet spots received to indicate the arrival instead of the actual time.
