[Dx4win] ZL9HR coordinates - wrong Low Bands prediction

2012-12-01 Thread Milan Gütter , OK7GU
Hi,

for ZL9HR DXpedition the DX4WIN8.05 gives SR 16.40UTC and SS 08.46UTC for
Dec. 1st, 2012.
DX4WIN coordinates for Auckland Campbell Isl.(File-Databases-Countries) is
E166,10 and S50,73.

ZL9HR web
http://www.campbell2012.com/index.php/plans
respective the
http://k3el.wordpress.com/dx/zl9hr/propagation/ says
.sunrise at 1559 UTC on 3rd December

Wikipedia and UNESCO coordinates is E169,09 and S52,33:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campbell_Island,_New_Zealand
http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/877/multiple=1unique_number=1029

After ZL9 coordinates correction in DX4WIN for the ZL9HR DXpedition
the SR is 16.20UTC and SS is 08.42UTC (December the 1st)

This correction is quite important for TB and 80m prediction - the
difference is quite important.

73 / GL with ZL9HR (not easy for EU)

The default coordinates for ZL9 are Auckland Island, IOTA OC-074. If
you put in IOTA OC-037 for Campbell Island, you will get the
sunrise/sunset times for Campbell. Perhaps I'll split the difference
for the DXCC coordinates, and let the IOTA do the rest.

Remember, once you log your first QSO with ZL9HR and IOTA OC-037,
subsequent QSOs will automatically come up as OC-037.
