Does this computer have a LPT port? Home computers built in the last
several years don't have LPT ports.
What hardware are you using to add the LPT port?

Did you load the LPT port driver?  From the DX4Win web page:

If you need access to the LPT port, run the LPTDriver program in the
drivers sub-directory; you will need to do that as administrator and
restart the computer when done.
