But no audited source code. I would bet that it does not have any back
 doors, but who can tell?

What do you mean by no audited source code? Who should audit it? Also it
is illegal to have back doors and it would ruin my reputation.

Additional information from the author of Passphrase Keeper:

If you are concerned about back doors then you should know that Passphrase
Keeper doesn't send any information to the internet - you can verify that

Anybody and everybody with technical knowledge and time on their
hands. But I do recognize that not every product is going to have
published source code.

Also it is illegal to have back doors and it would ruin my reputation.

An especially paranoid person might think that the FBI or CIA has set up
several innocent-looking businesses, selling products designed to
compromise individual privacy. But I'm sure THAT could never
happen! :-) Come to think of it, they're much more likely to install a
back-door into Microsoft's Palladium product and be done with it once and
for all.

Boris, I do not wish to insult you, or question your integrity, sincerity,
and pride of workmanship. I am not familiar with your product, nor with
your reputation, yet. From what I can see, the product looks very
good! My skepticism was not directed at you personally.

Regards,
Patrick
