[Elecraft] kx3 foldback setting?
Is there a swr foldback setting in in the kx3? I can't find such. my friends kx3 keeps folding power back while swr is 1.1 or 1.2. I suspect it should not until at least 2.1. any help? Ive pushed the power button all day long and my meter does not change unless I change the mic setting. Then it reverts right back to swr and rf output when I transmit. I have experimented with meter setting this morning after reading something about it on the list. If I tap the keyer/mic button it just changes between the modes, pwr, wpm, and mic. the meter does not change state, If i tap the mic and adjust mic, then the meter changes to comp/alc as long as I am making adjustments. When adjustments are done, the meter auto reverts back to swr/rf. It will not remain on comp/alc. Is that correct? I am using hdsdr sdr program with kx3. I am not sure if it will change freq on rig or not. So that is my question for someone using it. can you change freq of kx3 with hdsdr program? I got 6 meter repeater into memory finally. Now I can't get back out of memory mode.
