[Elecraft] KX3 with a long wire antenna
Hi, I will on a trip and will picking up my KX3 and will like to do some test on the air, not sure what kind of antenna I get but I was thinking on a long wire, has anyone experiment with this kind of antenna and the KX3 and any particular length ? [Elecraft] My KX3-F order...
I just notice on the Elecraft shipping status page that they are now notifying and shipping orders around Feb 08th 2012 interesting I place mine on Jan 16th 2012 and have not heard from Elecraft about my KX3F order ! [Elecraft] K3 SteppIR Controller
I have my K3 and just finishing installing my SteppIR small vertical with the SDA100 Controller and I also order the K3 Transceiver interface connector from the SDA100 Controller to the K3. Does any one knows how is setp up : I assume from the DATA IN/RADIO in the SDA100 Controller to the ? on the K3 ? Thank you and 73 Juan Carlos Munoz. Sorry, forgot to mention that besides the K3 I also have hooked the P3 and KPA500 and the RS232 to USB for my computer. [Elecraft] Split VFOs
Hello, When try to work split and try to use REV to listen on the calling frequency and move VFO B it also starts moving VFO A, how can I unlock this option so the receiving frequency VFO A will remain ? 73 Juan Carlos Munoz. [Elecraft] No clock on my K3
Suddenly on my K3 display there is no clock only shows 0.00 or the second option is the VFO B, currently using Data AFSK for RTTY, what could be wrong ? Thanks. [Elecraft] K3 RTTY setup
Hi, I'm trying to setup my K3 for RTTY, I have MMTTY not sure if is the best option with SignaLink USB, no serial only USB and a laptop with Windows 7 or a Mac OS X. [Elecraft] K3 Bose Headsets
Sorry if this has been cover before. I will like to know your experience with the K3 and the Bose headsets: 1. Bose QuietComfort 15 (this has to be modify to adapt the boom mike). 2. Bose A20 Aviation Headset. Besides your comments, if anyone has information of any modifications require to be use with the K3.
