Re: [Elecraft] [Elecraft-KX] Peter Martinez And The CW-To-PSK31 Feature
When I got my K3, one of the first produced, I made a couple of RTTY and PSK contacts with the CW-to-digital feature, virtually my first non-CW QSOs since the 1980s. I think they wondered why I sent them 5NN reports, though. 73, Victor, 4X6GP Rehovot, Israel Formerly K2VCO CWops no. 5 http://www.qsl.net/k2vco/ On 07/02/2023 6:36, Wayne Burdick wrote: Hi Tony, I had the function in mind, then cajoled Lyle into doing the hard part -- the demodulator. Re: [Elecraft] [Elecraft-KX] Peter Martinez And The CW-To-PSK31 Feature
A friend from work many years ago introduced me to his wife at a social gathering. When he mentioned that I was also a ham, her tone and demeanor suddenly changed, as she glared at me and asked “are you the one who gave him those teletype machines in the garage?” I was very glad that I was innocent! By the way, I have used the built in function in my KX2 to work RTTY with the paddles…it’s a pretty clever mashup of modes! 73 de W0ZF On Sun, Feb 5, 2023 at 3:12 PM Jim Brown wrote: > On 2/5/2023 10:47 AM, Alan Bloom wrote: > > You mean I no longer need my 75-pound Model 15 Teletype machine to > > send/receive RTTY? > > While I was moving from a house in Chicago I'd lived in for 20 years, > one of those machines sat in the alley for a couple of weeks! > > 73, Jim K9YC > __ > Elecraft mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net > > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html > Message delivered to dave.w...@gmail.com > __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
