I did not request the Beta 1.22; therefore did not load it. The release notes for 1.22 indicate that there are Applications Notes available for the sideband nulling per band. I apparently are Elecraft web site-challenged in that I can not find application notes for the KX3. Help will be appreciated. KX3 production firmware rev 1.23 (with DSP rev 0.99) is now available. See release notes below. This update is appropriate for all KX3 owners, especially if you are installing a KXBC3 battery charger. You'll need our KX3 Utility application to download and install firmware. For full instructions, refer to our KX3 software page: http://www.elecraft.com/KX3/KX3_software.htm Thanks, Wayne N6KR * * * MCU 1.23 / DSP 0.99, 10-17-2012 * FM MODE SELECTION AF ARTIFACT: Eliminated. * RECEIVE AUDIO LOST ON BAND CHANGE: Fixed. * KXBC3 TIME-SET ERROR (etc.): Fixed. In very rare cases, KX3s were unable to communicate with the KXBC3 module. * XVTR BAND DISPLAY FIXED for cases where 100’s of MHz digits are 00 (e.g., RF band = 3400 MHz). * SIDETONE MAX VOLUME SETTING INCREASED to 40. Note: This is a very high level. We increased it to support those with hearing loss or very inefficient headphones.
