I.E . making a dummy run to try an assertain what the eventual cost would be..? On the Elecraft website, (from as far as I can see)...when a user tries to do a dummy run...I think that you may end upactually placing an order...and I dont want to do that just yet... I'm not seeing that. I went to the order page, checked a few items, clicked add to cart. The system then asked my zip code and shipping method. The next screen had my shopping cart with the items and the shipping and the grand total which seems to be what you are looking for unless I am misunderstanding. Only upon clicking Check out now is the next step reached, which still requires several more screens of selecting payment type and entering the credit card, etc etc. As a note to the Elecraft folks, it's a very nice cart system. Good luck! ___ Elecraft mailing list Post to: Elecraft@mailman.qth.net You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Subscriber Info (Addr. Hi Andy, I've been doing this a whole lot lately leading up to my real order. Go to the elecraft.com order page and just check the boxes of the gadgets you're thinking about. When you click add to cart and then give your country mailing info, you're led to a page showing the cost including shipping price. But you still haven't placed an order since you haven't clicked on the check out now button (or even supplied your address credit card info) that's at the bottom of that page. My online credit card statement verifies I haven't inadvertently ordered a dozen K2's in my combo experiments. :-) Mike AB3AP Andy GM0NWI wrote on 03/09/05 09:04 ET: Guy's... Don't worry, Wayne does not mind if you order a dozen K2s at a time! Kevin.
