Bookworm, not bullseye.

Difficult - backports are no problems but those are distributed separately. 
Security concers are the best motivator to get packages in after a release.

Maybe someone can explain some things to me:

1) Why does the bug title reference Bullseye? I wasn't aware that
there was a version of LinuxCNC in Bullseye?

2) Is there a mechanism to release updates to software between Debian
versions? Or are we now stuck with the February(?) snapshot until
Trixie is released?

I backport sounds reasonable to me. Would want to wait for the official 2.9 in 
Debian testing, though.
