Re: [Evolution] Contact getting dropped off on reply-to-all

Any thoughts? Hi, I think I heard something very similar couple weeks ago, but I do not have any exact thoughts about that, because I wasn't able to reproduce it myself. If you've some particular message, where you can reproduce it every time, then it would be great if you can share it, through the http://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Evolution I would suggest you to save message and to remove all private/confidential information from there, even addresses and names you can remove, just keep the format of it. For example, change address: Evolution List evolution-list@gnome.org to x x-y...@z.org Or something similar, that's up to you. I just want to keep the addresses as much similar to the original as possible. Also be sure after changes no email will be doubled there. You can then import a message back to evolution and check it will work as the original one. [Evolution] evolution lost all of my vfolders!
As you know, I use vfolders heavily. I had a crash (i.e. power outage) this morning and when I restarted *ALL* of my vfolders were gone! I do have daily backups if I have to go back to a previous one but I don't even know what to restore. Can somebody enlighten me as to where/how evolution stores the vfolder configuration? FWIW, when evolution starts up it whines: (evolution:13006): camel-WARNING **: something went wrong terribly during db creation (evolution:13006): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_hash_table_foreach: assertion `hash_table != NULL' failed (evolution:13006): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_hash_table_destroy: assertion `hash_table != NULL' failed (evolution:13006): camel-CRITICAL **: camel_object_is: assertion `o != NULL' failed (evolution:13006): camel-CRITICAL **: camel_object_unref: assertion `CAMEL_IS_OBJECT(o)' failed (evolution:13006): evolution-mail-WARNING **: Cannot open vfolder store - no vfolders available Looks related. Re: [Evolution] Contact getting dropped off on reply-to-all
Hi Alex, Very similar problem. I am not using exchange though (only difference). If I hit reply-to-all for example contacts a, b, d get added to the CC but not contact c. And it is always with contact c. As mentioned I've deleted contact c's details from my list but still the problem occurs, there is also nothing different about contact c's address that any of the others that I'm sending to (all lowercase, no special characters). Also if I manually add the address (typing or going through the address book) the contact is added correctly and the message is sent successfully.
