Nope, 10.7 is a separate tree altogether.

 Anyway, if this is just a matter of copying my latest sed.info to another

 I'd greatly appreciate to get a brief notification about what was copied / 
 modified where and why.

It worked as-is, so I copied it over to the 10.7 tree shortly after I
sent the initial message.

I am (still) on vacation right now, so I can't look into any of this myself via
