However, this been killed off in the recent major update, so if you've applied that then it shouldn't even be available. Do you have any other packages on your system that need updating? I'd do them first to make sure that any references to pango1-xft2 are expunged in favor of pango1-xft2-ft219 I have a lot of packages that need updating. A couple of years ago I was away from my computer for a few months and fell behind on updating fink packages. You could start the hunt for the culprit on your machine by running grep libpangoxft-1.0.la /sw/lib/*.la If anything shows up, use dpkg -S filename to find the package this comes from. Hi Martin, This looks vaguely familiar - do you have the iphone sdk installed? I know it causes linking problems with wine, although this may not be the exact same problem (will need to google around a bit). Could also try to make a 1.1.1 package, and see if that helps... After some more tests, I am now convinced that the problem lies with xcode-3.1, more specifically with the new /usr/bin/ld. This doesn't seem right. On the other hand, pangot1-xft2 is supposed to be obsolete. See if you can remove it, and pango1-xft2-shlibs. Could you post the results of 'fink list -ot' (a list of all out-of-date packages)? I *think* gtkspell2 might be the culprit.
