Re: Firebug extensions - keyboard enablement

2009-08-06 Thread Tom

Thanks, John. I saw that article, but it only describes how to use
the interface with the keyboard. There is no information there for
developers of custom panels. I opened a bug:
http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/detail?id=2194

Thank you,
Tom

I am trying to create my own subpanel for Firebug, and cannot find any
information about how to properly enable keyboard access.  For
example, let's say that my panel shows an HTML table.  I would like to
tab to the table and then arrow through the rows.  I had assumed that
I could put a tabindex on an element, but this seems to compete with
  Firebug's focus mechanisms, and I don't get Firebug's highlighting.

So, what is needed in order to keyboard enable a custom panel?

  Thanks,
  Tom
