[Flexradio] Error msg on startup

2013-02-03 Thread Louis Bancook

Hi All

I'm hoping someone can steer me in the right direction on my problem...I
have a Flex 1500, which runs great on my ASUS I5 CORE laptop. I have
bought a new to me desktop, which is a DELL T3400 PRECISION running a
CORE plus with 8M of ram at 64 bit.

Flex 2.5.3 software loaded ok, but when I click on START I get an error
box Invalid number of channels. When I clear it another error box
comes up with Invalid stream pointer...

Anyone know what is going on?

Thanks for your insight,

Louis

Re: [Flexradio] Game Changer Ahead!

2012-05-13 Thread Louis Bancook
This is no different than Kenwood, Icom, or Yaesu rolling out a new
product...wait a minute...isn't Kenwood doing the same thing at Dayton
too? Keep in mind, the SDR is an ever changing platform, which is good.
I am really happy with my Flex-1500 and I would like to get a 5000a
someday. The GAME CHANGER is what it is...

If they do put out a new piece of hardware that becomes their new flagship, you
might well see MANY 5000a being sold on the cheap to get the new flagship.

Just my opinion.

We only have a short time to wait. We all will know soon enough.

GO FLEX!

A tease for a week is an afront to customers as you point out.

Game changer? Makes me a bit
apprehensive seeing as how I just got my 5000 and haven't
powered it up yet. I would not be a happy camper to
have bought one of the very last of the OLD ones instead
of one of the first of the new ones.

Is Neal Campbell around?
