Re: [Flightgear-devel] OSG font rendering broken

2011-12-17 Thread Frederic Bouvier
Hi James,

 De: James Turner

Since 'a day or two ago', all OSG text is rendering for me in the
'missing' font (built-in bitmap font, scaled). PLIB .txt appears
fine. I've already checked rolling back flightgear to a couple of
weeks ago, with no difference, so I think the issue is in simgear or
fgdata or 'something weird' (OSG I haven't rebuild in many weeks, so
it's definitely some kind of config issue)

Anyone touched anything OSG font related / loader related recently?

I can see it going wrong in the 'flightgear.org' splash-scren text,
so quite easy to test :)

it still appears to work correctly (the slash screen didn't changed) here on
Windows

Regards,
-Fred

No idea though why this affects fonts...

Any chance it's related to case-sensitive? After this change, with
OSG_NOFITY_LEVEL=info, I get:

No valid object found for /Users/Shared/FGFS/data/Fonts/Helvetica.txf
No valid object found for /Users/Shared/FGFS/data/Fonts/Helvetica.txf
No valid object found for /Users/Shared/FGFS/data/Fonts/Helvetica.txf

(which is the correct path to that file, for me)

Hmm, no that should not affect font loading.
But yes I can see the splash screen having the wrong font too.

Looking into this...
