Re: FLUXLIST: Re: FLUXLIST- Pariah tshirt

2001-06-15 Thread Sol Nte

Hi Ann,

$10 is fine, indeed reasonable. Colourwise I'm partial to grey or black and
sizewise I need XL.

It doesn't have to be an american town, though my husband I were both born
in
rather wonderfully named towns--Sleepy Eye and Greenbush. There are of
course
many insanely wonderfully named towns in England--got any candidates?

Sleepy eye...love it.

As for English Town names well now that I try and think I'm stuck.there
are some good names of areas in and around Stoke including

Fegg Hayes
Biddulph
Etruria (we live 5 minutes walk from Etruria which means we're almost
Etruscan!)
Uttoxeter
Cheedle
Wetley Rocks (our landlord lives there)
Butt End (this is real believe it or not)
Mow Cop
Golden Hill

...the list goes on

You know I don't know if I said it or not but I did like the Pompeii
suggestion...Pompeii Pariahs..it's got a ring to it..

cheers,

Sol.

Would Team Pariah members mind paying @$10 or so US to cover costs of

Will do. Black and large would be favourite.

How about -

Axe Edge
Butt Green
Cape Wrath
Devil's Beef Tub
Eyemouth
Frisby on the Wreake
Great Snoring
Huish Champflower
Inchgrundle
Jump
Knockando
Mousehole
Nempnett Thrubwell
Old Sodbury
Pratt's Bottom
Queen Camel
Ribble Head
Slaughterford
Tongue
Upper Dicker (near where I live, that one)
Vobster
Wrangle Lowgate
Yellow Furze
Zeals

There are no towns or villages beginning with X.
Well, that was fun.
Now, I really must start work!

BTW
Has the Pariah organisation been
put into place? Have you hired coaching staff,
publicity, catering, groundspeople and so on?

AK, $10 seems a small price to pay for such a distinctive garment! I'd be
willing

So the Global Pariahs is (are?) out, huh?

Yes, that is fine with me - so will we have a logo or a mascot?? or for
that matter even a place/home base yet? Since there seems to be some
question maybe we should be the Fluxlist Pariahs, with the fist being the
location. . . . . .

I'd consider it a bargain at twice the price and would be happy to pay in
advance if that would help. Medium black, please and thank you.

Does the home town have to be in America? This may seem a daft question
since you mentioned a suggestion of Pompeii but from seeing a number of
American films I sure this refers to some place like Pompeii, Idaho as
oppose to the original city of volcanic wonder..

 cheers,

As the suggestress of Pompeii I can assure you I meant the volatile Italian
