You would have to write a script which went through each file in
/usr/local/bin and /usr/local/lib (mostly sufficient) and examined
every single pkg-plist looking for the corresponding file. Then you
know what port the file was generated by. Needless to say, this would
be somewhat horrible.

in my machine i have installed cdrtools and there is also mkisofs file
so i wonder why the script /usr/src/release/i386/mkisofsimages.sh
still fetching for cdrtools.

Do you have the cdrtools.tbz package in /var/ftp/pub/distfiles ?

thanks for your time but there is only cdrtools-2.01.tar.bz2 which
is source files for making cdrtools. i keep all packages in a
separate location, /usr/ports/packages/.

from previous errors without any reasons, my instinct tell me that i
need to specify EXTLOCALDIR=/usr/local in command line as shown below

 begin
wmc# time make CHROOTDIR=/kaitag/KAITAG BUILDNAME=7.2-RELEASE
CVSROOT=/var/ftp/p
ub/ncvs RELEASETAG=RELENG_7_2_0_RELEASE EXTSRCDIR=/usr/src
DOC_LANG=en_US.ISO885
9-1 NODOC=NO NOPORTS=NO MAKE_ISOS=YES EXTLOCALDIR=/usr/local
RELEASEDISTFILES=/v

ar/ftp/pub/distfiles NOCDROM=NO NO_PREFETCHDISTFILES=YES release
 end

and the result is from, vidcontrol -P

!-- begin of vidcontrol -P --

anyway, there is no cdrom created since i put NOCDROM=NO in command
line but where is did change to CDROM=YES and change target to
rerelease, i get cdrom as desire.

upto this point, release(7) need to be changed a bit. so also i need
to experiment further for including packages into disc[123].iso
