Okay, I understand that and will remeber it the next time. Sorry. I felt a little bit helpless. A am not a programmer, I cannot fix a port by myself. I just like to use graphics/gimp-gmic-plugin And this port has (different) issues in versions 1.5.x 1.6.0 1.6.8 (not in the port yet) rm@ gave me a patch to try and to test 1.6.8 – to step over the issues of 1.5.x and 1.6.0 - But it has other issues. Does completely not work (a show stopper). In the old versions 1.6.0 and 1.5.x some filters does not wort (explained in the PR). I did Does not solve the stale dependency - it is still there :( Hi, Heino, This is a bug in portupgrade's pkgng integration: the whole 'pkgdb -Fu' thing shouldn't be necessary with pkgng's built-in sqlite database. Unfortunately the coding required to chop out the pkgdb related bits of portupgrade and replace them with equivalents via 'pkg check' isn't complete. I believe it needs some changes to 'pkg check' too, although I have no details on that. It's an annoying message, but inaccurate and you can just ignore it. NO! portupgrade stops after thet message and does not upgrade anything! How should I ignore that? You can use 'pkg check' and 'pkg info' to verify that liberoffice has the correct dependencies installed and that all those packages are correctly installed. graphics/rawtherapee
Hi, is it possible to push graphics/rawtherapee to version 4.0.9.50? On the last weekend I talked to a develoer of rawtherapee and he told me about some new noise reduction algorythyms... ...and he told me, the the developers often don't like it, to make a new major, so it is often a lot(!) new stuff in the change of some minor version steps.. so.. 4.0.9.1 is totaly diferent to 4.0.9.15, which is totaly different to 4.0.9.50, etc... Is ist possible? sincerely yours Heino ___ freebsd-ports@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ports To unsubscribe, send any mail to freebsd-ports-unsubscr...@freebsd.org

Apparently, most xfce applications don't seem to use the Tango icons. For example, Thunar does not display the stock folder icon next to the directory names anymore, instead there is no icon. The xfce applications menu has no icons for e.g. Logout, Terminal, System, Office and only shows a generic page-like icon with a red cross in the middle. However, applications that come with their own icons are displayed properly in the start menu, e.g. firefox, mplayer, gimp. Does anybode else observe this and has discovered a reason for this behaviour? Hi Thomas, I saw this too. I solved it by going to the XFCE4 menu and choosing Settings|Appearance and on the Icons tab, change the selection to GNOME and then back to Tango. You should have your Tango icons back. me too :) I heard: this happens alway^W often when xfce changes.. Its runtime dependency on archivers/zip can be explained by the fact that Firefox now packs its hundreds of GUI files (chrome) into a giant zip file (named omni.ja), for which it requires a zip library to read. You're welcome to tweak the Makefile to remove the runtime dependency and test it to see how badly it breaks; I've done the same to keep Perl and Python off my embedded system images when installing glib et alia.
