Freeradius Ip address assignation

2003-12-16 Thread Alex Rodriguez
There is a way for freeradius to be the one asigning the dynamic ip
addresses, instead of the access server assigning them?

I am trying to create different groups, with different dynamic ranges of ip
addressess, for a project, and i cannot do that on the ascend max. Only the
pool assignation is used to be specified using different PRI's or phone
number.

Anobody knows if there's a way of the radius be in charge of assigning the
pool of ips for each group?

Problem with radius authentication

2002-12-10 Thread Alex Rodriguez
Hi guys. Hope everyone is ok. I am using Cistron FreeRadius Software and
I am having some problems here.

It seems like some access servers are not sending an END signal to the
radius after an abrupt (forced) disconnection by the other end (end
user).

When the user reconnects, the radius gives an error on the radius.log
that reads:

Mon Dec 9 20:46:50 2002 : Auth: Multiple logins (max 1) [MPP attempt]:
[catwoman/CHAP-Password] (from client 959-TRUJILLOALTO port 6193 cli
7872923788)

The access server doesn't reflect any connected user (ghost) but the
radiusd keep saying that there's an user connected (Not in the access
server) Seems like the radiusd hasn't received a disconnect signal or
something.

Can anybody Help? Does anybody have any idea how to force the radius or
specify the radius to disconnect a user or mark it as disconnected?

Thanks in advance!
