Added to the hosts.

BTW, have you seen the PFR bug report on Savannah which I've assigned
to you?

[ft] new LCD rendering patches

2006-09-30 Thread David Turner
Hello,

first of all, if you want to experiment with LCD rendering, you'd better
grab the current CVS, since I fixed a few annoying things.

Here are two more patches to support LCD rendering patches with the current
FreeType CVS:

- an updated patch for libXft (correcting a 1-pixel position bug in LCD mode)
- a new patch for cairo-1.0.4

they're all available from the usual address, i.e. :

  http://david.freetype.org/jam/libXft-2.1.7-lcd-filter-2.patch
  http://david.freetype.org/jam/cairo-1.0.4-lcd-filter-1.patch

This apparently covers anything on my Ubuntu Dapper installation,
with the exception of OpenOffice, which seems to do its own thing
with regards to font rendering !!

I'll try to write patches for other versions of Cairo, but this will take time.

Note that I'm *not* going to do a patch for OpenOffice; building it is simply
too long and painful, I have better things to do with my free time :-)

Enjoy,
