chrissy,
im in the raleigh area as well, and while i happen to have a couple of p.
m. grandis, i've got a pretty extensive uroplatus collection and wont be
able to fit these lil guys in. however, i sent your email on to a friend
of mine also in the raleigh area who works with some day geckos (mostly
standings i think), chameleons, and so on. so hopefully he'll be able to
get in touch with you so you can be assured your gex find a good home.
good luck!
mike

[gecko]snail breeding?

2005-05-03 Thread Jared Morris

I wonder if anyone out there has a source for
captive bred Helix aspersa or Helix pomatia (garden snails, or "escargots", or
breeds the little slimy devils themselves? I am considering trying my hand
at small scale heliculture, but understand that it can take years to get a
stable breeding group started. On this note, anyone feed snails to their
Uroplatus? If so, what kind, where do you get them, and how do you get
your gex to notice them?
