There is going to be a session at Apache EU on Kabuki by Scott Dietzen - can somebody ask him? From what I understand from various folks Kabuki is totally dead; i.e., the companies that fought hard to start it have decided their business interests lie elsewhere and have no intention to do anything here. No that's not official statements but rather rumblings I've heard on the grapevine. I'm surprised that Scott will actually make the time to come and give a talk at AC if the above is really the case. Scott was on this list at least when the discussion was going but not sure whether he's here now to answer. There must be a lesson in here for us .. I've raised this issue to capture all your great feedback http://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/AMQ-752 so that the next release tidies up the uberjar and consolidates its license notice files. -- James --- http://radio.weblogs.com/0112098/ - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Sure! +1 i've committed an extremely rough draft for a learn release management document here: http://incubator.apache.org/learn/releasemanagement.html. (it's more of a skeleton really.) it's rough for a reason - IMO it'd work much better developed from the experiences of those who've been through the incubator (as opposed to someone sitting down for a few days and writing up something polished). please dive in and patch - you can't make it any worse ;-) i've tried to come up with a rough structure that should allow folks to create bit sized patches rather than lengthy prose. we can tie it up later once the content's there. ATM the content is mostly java since that's what i know best but hopefully that'll change. - robert

I could choose what I am *not* known as, to be the only legal name, but have chosen to keep my 'birth name' where ever possible.
