Thanks, Kfir CFLAGS=-march=native -O2 -pipe enables everything safe these days. Hi, I think -march=native is a problem, as it will compile for my cpu. Qemu has different CPU, and i would like to compile my code to suit the vm environment as close as possible. Kfir
Re: [gentoo-user] Problem with slow Boot
maybe lilo doesn't support newer bios, why not try grub? 2011/6/28 Zhu Sha Zang zhushaz...@yahoo.com.br Hey people, i have some weird problem with my two notebooks. The models are, HP ProBook 6450b and Lenovo Ideapad Z360. I'm using LILO in both of the systems and in HP Notebook the load of vmlinuz are fast, normal, like any desktop machine. But, in Lenovo Notebook the loading are very slow. I don't know if have any solution, but reading in some places, this is a BIOS mistake. Some trick that can i fix this delay? -- Zhu Sha Zang
Re: [gentoo-user] Framebuffer
That's called vbe information. If you have grub2,you can enter the command mode and type 'vbeinfo',or if you use uvesafb, you will get vbe info here at /sys/devices/platform/uvesafb.0/graphics/fb0/modes 2011/5/18 Indi thebeelzebubtrig...@gmail.com: On Wed, May 18, 2011 at 03:10:02PM +0200, JDM wrote: Genthinktank, How can you determine all the available frambuffer resolutions and colour depths on a particular host for vesafb. Re: [gentoo-user] Will the next auto-build stage tar ball include OpenRC update?
Glad to see so many people talking about Chinese characters here.I wrote those words just because I see the thread starter's name written in Chinese. Thanks to UTF-8 maybe some i18n fonts in your computer, these characters can be displayed correctly. Ahh,it's interesting that ancestors devloped such two different kinds of language.I do think it's quite different from the differences between pythonperl... 恩,语言反正是用来交流的咯,估计老外看看还感觉挺新奇的~~

I think it is a bit like IoC in OOP programing. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inversion_of_control
