Re: [gentoo-user] Root login, KDE-3.4

I use the lab-rat to test new hardware/software and its convenient to be logged in as root. How do I enable root login in kdm? TIA Right after I sent this I looked at kdmrc. Now I can login to my lab-rat as root. -- Ted Ozolins(VE7TVO) Westbank, B. C -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list

C do you mean you cant use the root login name or that there is no icon for root in kdm? you should be able to type root in the username box and passswd as per normal. Why you would really want to escapes me right now tho, cause all the important stuff can be done with control center or konsole using su. just my 2c. -- Hildebrant's Principle: If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there. -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
