Since moving from xorg-server 1.5.3 (?) to 1.6, xorg has gone back to an old behaviour of refusing the resolution I need (I switch using xrandr).
Video chipset is i915 in a sony vaio with a 1366x768 screen. I am trying to use an external LCD monitor with 1280x1024 native resolution.
