Can i install gentoo with braille support in the installation?

I normally do this through a running gentoo system:

1. boot up the live cd
2. passwd
enter some new password twice

/etc/init.d/sshd start

and than I log into this live cd from another box that has brltty
working.

This may not be very useful for a first-time installation.

Depending on dhcp settings of your router it may be hard to find the IP
address given by your dhcp server, I sometimes do a ping other host
from the new machine, in the hope that the arp command on the other host
will see the new machine.

Kind regards,

Henk.

2007-12-22 Thread Stroller
I don't know if it's still the case, but I know a couple of years ago
the LiveCDs supported speakup. I assume they still do; I got the
impression at the time that this was considered quite cool.
