The only requirement to be officially considered a member of GNHLUG is that at some time in the past you must have at *least* once: Heckled Ben. For those of you who have never done this, we will commence with fulfilling this requirement immediately so you may begin filling out the survey. Any of those members who feel like they really haven't done enough lately to warrant their membership, may renew by taking part in the heckling as well :) -- Paul Lussier Senior Systems and Network Engineer Co-Chairman, Greater New Hampshire Linux User's Group (GNHLUG) Chairman, Nashua Chapter GNHLUG http://www.gnhlug.org Events: http://www.gnhlug.org/lug_cal/month.php * To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the text 'unsubscribe gnhlug' in the message body. *
Linux survey request from Rice University
If you want to participate in a survey regarding your use of and feeling towards Linux, go to: http://www.surveypro.com/cgi-bin/surveypro/run_survey.cgi?id=2444 Our participation was requested by http://www.ruf.rice.edu/~dholakia I used it, it seems to collect interesting data - but it makes the assumption that chat rooms are used a lot. --Bruce * To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the text 'unsubscribe gnhlug' in the message body. *

Benjamin Scott [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: I don't think we have ever defined a formal membership requirement. For that matter, I don't think we have ever formally defined GNHLUG. :-) Speaking for myself -- strictly my opinion here -- I have always thought of being subscribed to this mailing list as being both necessary and sufficient for being considered a GNHLUG member. That seems to be common among Linux user groups. For my part, when people ask about BLU membership I tell them it's the union of list subscribers and meeting attendees. -- John Abreau / Executive Director, Boston Linux Unix ICQ 28611923 / AIM abreauj / JABBER [EMAIL PROTECTED] / YAHOO abreauj Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] / WWW http://www.abreau.net / PGP-Key-ID 0xD5C7B5D9 PGP-Key-Fingerprint 72 FB 39 4F 3C 3B D6 5B E0 C8 5A 6E F1 2C BE 99 msg13863/pgp0.pgp Description: PGP signature
