Cookout?

2009-07-22 Thread Ted Roche
At the last CentraLUG meeting, Dave Rose offered his place, just off
Exit 23 on I-89, for a cookout in August. We're narrowing down the date
and will make a formal announcement soon.

Stay tuned...

So sorry. Shouldn't type before the second cup of coffee. The cookout
would be off Exit 23 of I-93, not I-89.

At least it's non-routable (89 leaves NH just after x20 in W. Leb).

Non-routable in Vermont too. When 89 leaves Vermont for Canada, it is
after x22.

Sort-of related, I got sent a link to a YouTube video entitled If
Man Walked on the Moon Today. I think it is actually pretty apt
commentary on what our modern news media has become:

Marginally closer to topic than my last: Here's a report from an
interview (done circa 1994) with one of the programmers who worked on
the software for the Apollo lunar lander computer. I find it
fascinating:

Here's a blog post about a blog post about how the Apollo computer
source code has been uploaded into Google Code. I find the
observation of the comments in the source code to be... very
interesting.
