[Goanet] Family Tree http://www.geni.com

For those who wish a better experience there is Geni Pro, and like
flickr Pro (for photos) is a paid service. Its a different business
model and may remain the same.Sooner than later many people will at
least have their FTs printed (see below). Why? Cause with surplus
income/changing lifestyle come a surfeit of ideas.

On PRINTING: One can print a Family Tree poster via Geni. Go to the
More pull down menu. Presumably a new service.
Its says: Customize your tree poster below. When you're finished, click Checkout
Is your poster missing relatives? Add people to this tree (link).
Checkout (button) [am sure--will involve a payment]

The Pereira Family on Geni:
Cecilia, a Castelino (the larger family spread over Corjuem, Pomburpa,
Olaulim, Aldona, perhaps Carona, etc) is a part of the Pereira family
Pereira family clan. The Pereira clan has been Geni for a while, at the
initiative of Nadisha** (daughter of Vally Anna Coelho, Succour).
Their tree is huge.

Some of them are/were ex-Orkay footballer Bernard Pereira. Arthur
Pereira. Joe Monteiro in Chembur, Cajetan (Caetano) Lobo building his
house in Aldona, Roger Atlee Castelino in Dubai [FB message says: All
geared up for the largest #event #branding we have ever handled...
Can't disclose the client because of an #NDA], late Vianney
Bartholomew Castelino [SAB Technical, Sulzer; late Esther late Irene
Castelino, my s-in-law mother-in-law] etc). This is the 35th year of
the PFP--Pereira FAMILY PICNIC which will be in Goa, with over a
hundred attending. Being on Geni has worked out well for that family.
A great time to see some splendid women, and men too

**Nadisha Coelho was entirely home schooled (two of five all the way
and straight into college, three to go) and recently awarded a JRF
(Junior Research Fellowship) to be applied towards a PhD.

For those of you who would wish to create a family tree
http://www.geni.com is a resource which at first sight I would say is
absolutely superb. It enables you to collaboratively create a family
tree that can be invaluable in property matters etc.

I have a feeling that as the site grows more popular one may suddenly
find that the owners of the site will decide that it is payback time
and those who want to consult it should pay for it. Therefore I think
it is a good idea to keep some backup records of what is registered on
 the site.

But how is that to be done?
