Re: [google-appengine] Can't create application invalid name no matter what I choose..

2013-10-12 Thread AndyD
My experience has been that it doesn't matter what name you pick, if it
doesn't have a hyphen, it won't be accepted. I'm sure there are other
magic characters, but generally speaking, a name like
jknvajkdhnilutysljknfvbkljhsldfkjtysuiehlvks won't work, while
a-jknvajkdhnilutysljknfvbkljhsldfkjtysuiehlvks is just fine.

The application name asdfafasdf shown in your screenshot seems to be
legitimately invalid, as I'm getting the same error:

You just have to play around a little with names to get a valid
application ID. Remember that app IDs can't share names with an
already-existing Gmail account, or previously-deleted application IDs.

[google-appengine] Can't create application

2011-03-28 Thread John
I've created a Google App Engine account, but I'm falling at the first
hurdle. When it asks me for my mobile number with country code, I type
it in but it gives me an error - There were errors:Mobile Number or
Username

I've definitely entered the country code and removed the leading zero
from my number. I'm in the UK so I'm using +44. I've tried this
endless times and can't seem to get past this stage.

Any ideas?

[google-appengine] Can't create application

2010-10-26 Thread brian
I just signed up for app engine and validated the account with SMS.
When I try to create my first application nothing happens. I enter a
app id and it says it's available. Then when I click Create
Application it takes me back to the start page with no applications
showing. When I try to add the application again it now says the app
id is not available. I've tried several times with new app ids that
are always available and it doesn't do anything.

[google-appengine] Can't create application

2008-12-14 Thread Dan

Hello,

I frequently experience collisions between the various Google services
that are supported by Google Apps for my domain and those that
aren't. App Engine is one of them.

At the moment I can't create a new Google App Engine application
because it says that I have already used that phone number to verify
my account. I have changed the mail address used for services not
supported by Google Apps for my domain but I can't get any further.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

[google-appengine] Can't create application

2008-09-10 Thread Shidan

I signed up for an account a while ago and did the sms verification.
Now when I log in it asks to verify again using sms but now it won't
let me, says I have already authenticated with this phone number or
something to this effect.

How do I go about creating an app now and why is it asking me to re-
authenticate with sms when it has already done it before? It obviously
knows it has since it is telling me this number has been used for
authentication before.
