[ha-Safran] Contact info for Encyclopedia Judaica?

2013-07-09 Thread Michelle Chesner
Does anyone know if there's a way to contact the Encyclopedia Judaica
editors to let them know of a citation error so it can be changed (at least
in the online version), or is it naive to think it possible? They list an
important Columbia manuscript with an incorrect citation, and I'd love for
it to be corrected if possible.

Thanks,
Michelle

Over half of the world's 2 billion internet users interact with social media
tools to create, share, and exchange information and ideas while online.
Libraries are using these tools to market programs and services, and to connect
and engage with their communities beyond the library walls. Join Dr. Roberto
Gallardo, Project Director of Extension Broadband Education and Adoption Team
(e-BEAT) in Mississippi, to explore Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest as
examples of tools that are being used successfully by libraries. The webinar
will cover how to create, administer, select security settings and moderate
these social media tools to maximize your library's online presence.

[ha-Safran] Questions about using www.encyclopedia.com

2013-07-09 Thread BPastcan
Dear Safranim,
Can anybody tell me if they use www.encyclopedia.com/ as a reliable and
authoritative web site for elementary or middle school
students to conduct their research? Any expert advice pertaining to this age
group would help
from teachers or librarians and we are wondering if other Jewish day schools
use this. Please reply to me off of the listserv.
Thank you,
