The auction will be on Tuesday, 7.5 at 18.00 A.M. After Passover and before the 
Day of Remembrance for the Fallen Israel soldiers and Independence Day,

 

we have made a catalog that also combines special and rare exhibits related to 
these four dates.

 

We will present in the auction 600 rare and special items, among them : 

 

1. Original Mandate for The Land of Israel, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq as agreed 
between France and England and brought to the approval of the British 
Parliament. The document was printed in His Majesty's Stationery Office and 
it's one of the foundational documents in the modern political science with a 
museum value for Jewish history. 

 

2. "Otsar Ha-Hagadot" - Numbered copy - No. 72 of 100 copies. 

 

3. Special edition of "The Guide for the Perplexed" with a lot of illustrations 
and sketches and commentary by Salomon Maimon. 

 

4. "Shevet Musar" book, among the early Jerusalem books with four engravings. 

 

5. Rare and important book of the Jewish architect Erich Mendelsohn.

philosopher in the 20th century : Martin Buber. A special artwork. After the 
death of Professor Yosef Agassi and his wife Judith Buber Agassi, who is the 
granddaughter of Martin Buber. 

 

3. Paintings and lithographs from the Buber-Agassi collection and other 
collections. 

 

4. The Golden Book of "HaGashash HaHiver" that is signed by the three members 
of the "Gashash" and their legendary manager Pashanel. Very rare.

We are pleased to invite you to auction No.19 that will take place on a day 
after tomorrow, Tuesday, 20.4.21, at 18.30.

 

The auction will include hundreds of rare items related to four important dates 
we had in the last month :

 

1. Rare books in Judaism and Jewish Studies that symbolically refer to Passover.

 

2. Books about Jewish communities around the world, Holocaust and Heroism and 
Antisemitism, which relate to Holocaust Remembrance Day.

 

3. Books about Jewish Yishuv and the Zionist Movement relating to the 
remembrnace day of IDF fallen soldiers and Independence Day.

 

4. Books about the State of Israel, IDF, and undergrounds  relating to the 
remembrance day of IDF fallen soldiers and Independence Day.

Arab-Israeli conflict in Arabic from the point of view of our enemies.

We send daily lists of rare books and publications that we get.

 

Each list has about fifteen titles.

 

We send the list to top libraries in Israel and abroad, for book lovers, 
cultural enthusiasts, researchers, museums and collectors.

 

The lists won't be sent on Fridays and Sundays in order to give equal 
opportunity for everyone.

 

We have one copy of each publication. First come first served!

[ha-Safran] Volumes of the annual - "Luach Ha-Arets"

Dear Friends,

 

It's a good opportunity to show the volumes of "Luach Ha-Arets" in the 
beginning of the Jewish year. 

 

"Luach Ha-Arets was an annual for literature, cultural and political affairs, 
which was published since the early 40's to the late 50's. The calendar 
contained thought and philosophy, policy and politics, statistics for the past 
year, literature and poetry.

 

In addition, there were dozens of advertisements showing the eonomy and 
cultural life of the Yishuv and the young state.

 

Since the calendar of 1948, most of the calendars were opened with a lot of 
poems by poet Uri Zvi Greenberg, who was re-admitted to the mainstream of 
Hebrew literature after years of external boycott and internal mute. 

 

We have one copy of each issue. A price for each volume is 25$.

 

First come first served.

This Sunday, our Auction, sale No. 7, will begin on 8/9/2019, at 18:00 pm : 
Sale of rare books in Jewish studies, rare books in general subjects, 
bibliophilic editions, signed books, collectibles, Judaica, vinyls, documents, 
art. Last item : Unknown pamphlet about the Druze in the War of Independence. 
The only copy which wasn't destroyed!

 

Cheap opening prices. No buyer commissions!! VAT on the entire amount. Those 
who pay after 14 days will be charged for 20% commission [This section does not 
apply the institutions, but to private customers who regularly delay the 
payment]. 

 

Shipping prices: Registered mail - 25 NIS. Mail packages - 35 NIS. Courier Mail 
- 60 NIS. 

 

Many items already got offers, it's recommended to follow and not miss items.

items of the prophet of kingship and rebellion and laments the destruction of 
the exiles - the poet Uri Zvi Greenberg , Items related to the Irgun [Etzel] 
and Lehi undergrounds, books about communities an Holocaust, Anti-Semitism, and
