[hlds_linux] Invalid Packet on wrong ports from VALVe
My firewall is spamming Invalid packet logs (which is iptables -p ALL -m state --state INVALID) from 72.165.61.136 (owned by valve) on UDP 27012 and 27013. Now, I'm running servers on these ports: SV 27014 CL 27008 TV 27100 SV 27015 CL 27006 TV 27021 SV 27016 CL 27005 TV 27020 SV 27055 CL 27007 TV 27022 SV 27059 CL 27009 TV 27023 Why does valve scan 27012 and 27013 and how does that end up in invalid state? ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux

To find the length of a sting you should refer to the av. Length of a straw. It's about the same. -Original Message- From: hlds_linux-boun...@list.valvesoftware.com [mailto:hlds_linux-boun...@list.valvesoftware.com] On Behalf Of Eric Riemers Sent: Thursday, February 11, 2010 1:59 PM To: Half-Life dedicated Linux server mailing list Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] HLDS Hosting core i7 8gb will work.. but knowing the string length would be wise. But using an average might not meet his requirements. I had a string over 1 mile long!
