Re: Useful threads are disappearing!
Merciadri Luca luca.mercia...@student.ulg.ac.be writes: Hello, Especially when creating a new thread and, day after day, answering to users' messages on my thread, there is sometimes one day or another where my (recent) thread completely disappears from my Gnus thread list. Why it disappeared? Have you put them into cache? You can cache a useful artical by pressing '*' mark on it if you have set (setq gnus-use-cache 'passive) By Gnus thread list, I want to speak about the list of threads which is fetched from my Usenet gateway server. I do not understand why, and it seems to be done by Gnus, as my server still has these threads. Any solution? Maybe a score problem? However, I never use Gnus' scoring. I'm sorry, I dont understand. The command I gave makes read or down scored threads visible. Its just to see if the threads you can not normally see are actually there : are they there after this command? Can you see the posts? I think you are saying the command I gave makes your posts visible? If yes, then do you have scoring turned on? Then I'm not much help as you need a degree/PhD in Gnus to understand scoring :-().
