Tony,
While it is good that the specs are downloadable via click-through
licensing, the Confidentiality clause in the license prevents public
discussion of its details without consent from Visa. This is why I resorted
to public references in my previous message on CAVV/AAV.
Perhaps the 3D-Secure mailing list I have proposed before should 'license
the license' so everyone who joins the mailing list must have also accepted
the license. What do you think?
Best,
Don Park

Many 3-D documents are available for download by accepting a license
agreement. The CAVV algorithm is documented in Appendix D of 3-D
Secure(TM) Functional Requirements, Access Control Server, 70002-01.
Today the following link will display a page from which 3-D Secure
documents can be downloaded:
http://international.visa.com/fb/paytech/secure/main.jsp

If you're reading an archived version of this message and the above link
does not work, try going to http://corporate.visa.com
http://corporate.visa.com and click on Vendors Merchants. From
the resulting page, you should find a link that takes you to
documentation for 3-D Secure.
