HE PASSED HIS HANDS OVER HIM AND THE UGLINESS DEPARTED HIM AND HE WAS GIVEN GOOD HAIR .

Du`aa After Ablution opens the eight gates of Paradise
A true believer never gives up supplicating to his Lord and imploring Him for guidance. Almighty Allah teaches us to call upon Him and seek His forgiveness all the time. In the Quran, Almighty Allah teaches us:
Ask Allah of His bounty. Lo! Allah is ever Knower of all things. (An-Nisaa: 32) Sheikh Sayyed Sabiq states in his well-known book, Fiqh us-Sunnah: `Umar reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,
If one completes (and perfects) the ablution and then says, I testify that there is no god except Allah, the One Who has no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, the eight gates of Paradise will be opened for him and he may enter any of them that he wishes (Muslim). Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri reported that the Prophet said,
Whoever makes ablution and says, Glory be to Thee, O Allah, and the praise be to Thee. I bear witness that there is no god except You. I beg Your forgiveness and I repent unto you, will have it written for him, and placed on a tablet which will not be broken until the Day of Resurrection (At-Tabarani).
An-Nasai has it with the wording
It will be stamped with a seal, placed below the throne, and it will not be broken until the Day of Resurrection. As for the supplication,
Allah, cause me to be from among the repentant, and cause me to be from among the pure,
it has been narrated by At-Tirmidhi.

The Real Status of the
Prophet

The Holy Messenger of God (peace blessings of God be on him) had
the real status of a Prophet and not that of a king or a ruler upon this earth.
He was the Seal of the Prophets, i.e, the best and the most perfect of the
Prophets; the embellishment and ornament of the Prophets, instead of being a
monarch or an emperor. Almighty God in His Holy Book, the Quran, described his
status in this way:
And Muhammad is not the father to
any man among you but he is a Messenger of God and the Seal of the
Prophets. (ch. 33: V. 41)

Although his status was that of a prophet of God and seal of the
prophets, yet there is no reason to doubt that from another aspect he could also
aptly be regarded as a king. Looking back at his life in
Medina, it becomes very clear that
he was in fact not only a king, but was also truly an emperor. His position in
fact, was so unique and multi-dimensional that even the question and the debate
whether he was a prophet or a king appears un-necessary.

Apparently, the topic chosen for this discussion reflects as if
prophethood and kingship are two totally separate positions, of which one was
applicable to the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h)* and the other was not. If
we set aside the facts, this doubt grows even stronger. Looking at his life in
Medina, the above-mentioned
calculation does not apply, this means that the title has some other
connotations, and that according to his real status, he was a Prophet of God and
kingship and kingdom were not his main aim. But as said in the Holy
Quran:
And in the
Messenger of God, you have a perfect Model.

Because he was a perfect example for all walks of life, it was necessary
that he be given kingship also, to enable him to demonstrate the supremacy of
character and perfection of behaviour, which should associated with kingship.
This of course, was subsidiary to what he strived hard to achieve, the
perfection of religious laws and human character and values, during the tenure
of his Ministry. But while exercising the responsibilities of a king, he
certainly remained innocent of the ill-effects of character which sometimes
accumulate in a person who is granted a kingship; and the opponents of Islam,
placing and presenting him in the line of worldly kings, have done great
injustice to his noble person.

It appears that from the study of his life and sayings, from his acts and
excellent character, the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) was not only a
prophet but was also free from all undesirable elements and blemishes associated
with many worldly kings. On one side, he was an ideal to follow in his deeds,
sayings, character and excellence of behaviour; on the other, he demonstrated
such a perfect example of political acumen and supreme leadership that any one
could seek valuable guidance from him in this field also.

When we compare the simplicity, unostentatiousness and humility of the
Holy Prophet Mohammad (p.b.u.h) with the pomp and show of worldly
kings, we are left with a feeling of utter amazement. In ordinary dealings and
conversations, worldly kings have a peculiar style of ceremony and grandeur; but
the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) , while talking to and dealing with
thousands of people, never even let them feel that they were conversing with a
superior person and kept such a low profile that he appeared as an ordinary
person. His life in Medina is proof
that he was a true vicegerent of God on earth. When his state of helplessness
was transformed into that of sovereignty in
Medina, even then he shunned every
form of pomp and show, arrogance or grandeur, and remained the same simple
individual that he was previously. Such was Muhammad, the Holy Prophet
(p.b.u.h), and the like of whom the world never knew before nor would
it ever witness again till the end of time.

Jamaah At-Tableegh 

They are the followers of Muhammad Ilyaas, the founder of this group. 

Biography of the Founder: Muhammad Ilyaas was born in the year 1302 Hijrah.
He memorized the Qur'aan and studied the six books of Hadeeth according to
the Deobandee Hanafee manhaj which is an Ash'aree and Maatureedee madhhab
pertaining to 'Aqeedah and a Soofee madhhab. The different paths of
Soofism within them are four:

Naqshbandiyyah  

*   
Suhoorudiyyah   

*   
Qaadiriyyah 

*   
Jashtiyyah  

The founder, Shaykh Muhammad Ilyaas, made a pledge of Soofism at the hand of
Shaykh Rasheed al-Kankoohee and then revived this pledge after Shaykh
Rasheed al-Kankoohee at the hand of Shaykh Ahmad as-Sahaaranghooree who was
the one who permitted him to be able to take pledges of allegiance to this
well-known Soofee manhaj. Muhammad Ilyaas used to sit in privacy at the
grave of Shaykh Noor Muhammad al-Badaayoonee. He also used to be the
Jashtiyyah watchperson over the grave of 'Abdul-Quddoos al-Kankoohee who was
completely overwhelmed by the idea of Wahdah al-Wujood (That Allaah is
everywhere and one with His creation). He was raised and studied in Delhi
and died there in the year 1363 Hijrah. 

Circumstances That Caused the Emergence of This Group: 

Shaykh Aboo al-Hasan an-Nadwee holds that Muhammad Ilyaas resorted to this
path of giving dawah when the ways of blind following for the rectification
of the people in his region were exhausted. Shaykh Mayaan Muhammad Aslam
reports from some of the statements of Ilyaas that this path was inspired to
him by a new Tafseer, presented to his soul in a dream, of the Aayah: 

You are the best nation sent out (produced) for mankind. You enjoin
what is right, forbid what is wrong, and you believe in Allaah. [Aali
Imraan : 110] 

This new Tafseer necessitates that the realization and actualization of
being sent out for calling to Allaah is not achieved by remaining in one
place based upon the proof in Allaah's statement: 

sent out 

and that one's Eemaan increases with this Khurooj based upon the proof that
Allaah said: 

you believe in Allaah. 

only after He mentioned: 

sent out 

So there are a number of issues of consideration with what has preceded: 

1. The Qur'aan is not explained by inspirations and Soofee dreams which most
of, rather all of them, are revelations of Shaytaan. 

2. It is apparent from what has preceded that the founder of this group was
completely immersed in Soofism and he made two pledges of allegiance to it
(Soofism) and he was tested by the heads of Soofism. He also spent his time
sitting at graves. 

3. The founder of this group was superstitious and one who frequents graves
innovatively which is apparent because he used to sit in privacy at the
grave of Shaykh Noor... and it was mentioned about the second (Shaykh's
grave that he used to visit) that he was completely overwhelmed by the idea
of Wahdah al-Wujood. Indeed, his devotion and seclusion at the grave of
someone who was overcome with this ideology is a clear proof because he also
used to promote it. 

4. The people who believe in Wahdah al-Wujood claim that Allaah takes the
form of a beautiful woman - and we seek Allaah's refuge. This is something
of the highest level of evil. May Allaah give them to what they deserve of
curses and anger. 

The manhaj of the Tableegh dawah is summarized in six matters, or
principles, or six characteristics: 

1. The Realization of the Shahaadah: Laa ilaaha illa Allaah. 

2. Praying with submissiveness and humbleness. 

3. Knowledge of the virtues, not issues, along with Dhikr. 

4. Honoring the Muslim. 

5. Correction of one's intention. 

6. Calling to Allaah and making Khurooj in the path of Allaah according to
the Tableegh manhaj. 

For each one of these principles or characteristics, there is an intended
objective behind it. So the objective behind Laa ilaaha illa Allaah, for
example, is: Removing the corrupt Yaqeen (certain faith) from one's heart
and replacing it with the correct Yaqeen pertaining to the essence of
Allaah. By this, they mean Wahdah al-Wujood. 

The Points of Criticism Against Jamaah At-Tableegh: 

1. The founder of this group was raised in Soofism and gave two pledges of
allegiance to it. 

2. He used to remain for long periods of time at graves, waiting for
inspirations and ideologies from their occupants. 

3. He used to be the Jashtiyyah watchperson over the grave of 'Abdul-Quddoos
al-Kankoohee who used to believe in the ideology of Wahdah al-Wujood. 

4. The Jashtiyyah watchperson is someone who sits at a grave for half an
hour every week with his head covered, making Dhikr with the phrase Oh
Allaah Who is present with me, Oh Allaah my

Demands Grow for US to Release Info on Iraqi Civilian Casualties

A humanitarian aid worker's death in Iraq last week is spurring calls for a public accounting of civilian casualties by the United States government and more attention to the issue by the U.S. media.
Marla Ruzicka, 28, w ho fought to obtain recognition and compensation for Iraqis injured in U.S. military attacks, did not live to see all her goals accomplished.
But a week before a car bomb took her life and that of her Iraqi co-workers, Ruzicka wrote a toughly worded essay. In it, she contradicted senior Pentagon officials, stating that military commanders do keep track of Iraqi civilians killed by U.S. forces and that the number is important.
Despite Gen. Tommy Franks' assertion in 2002 that U.S. soldiers âdon't do body countsâ -- echoed more recently by Secretary of Defence Donald Rumsfeld -- it is âstandard operating procedureâ to file a report when a noncombatant is shot, Ruzicka wrote, citing an unnamed brigadier general.
âThe American public has a right to know how many Iraqis have lost their lives since the start of the war and as hostilities continue,â she wrote in her statement, published on the website of the organisation she founded, the Campaign for Innocent Victims in Conflict.
Amid the outpouring of sympathy over her death, Ruzicka's statement is certain to put wind in the sails of those who say either that the Pentagon is lying when it claims it doesn't track civilian casualties or that it can and must undertake such a task, both as a humanitarian imperative and in the interests of U.S. credibility.
Their numbers are growing. Among the latest to call for such statistics are 24 public health experts from six countries, including the United States and Britain, who last month castigated those two governments -- the chief partners in the 2003 invasion of Iraq -- for their âirresponsibleâ failure to investigate Iraqi civilian casualties.
Their statement, appearing online in the respected British Medical Journal, criticised the allies for relying on âextremely limitedâ Iraqi Ministry of Health data while dismissing a peer-reviewed study in another British publication, The Lancet. It estimated that about 100,000 civilians had died, over half of them women and children.
One of the statement's signers, Prof. Daniel Blumenthal, who chairs the department of community health at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, noted the U.S. government's claim that its forces do their utmost to minimise civilian casualties.
âHow can we know whether we're making any progress when a conscious decision is made to keep that from the public?â he told IPS.
Another signer, Michael Christ, executive director of International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, who is not a doctor, said in an interview that the number of dead and injured Iraqi civilians is a key test of the George W. Bush administration's claim that the purpose of the war is to promote democracy. For that reason, he said, the Pentagon is keeping a tight lid on the information.
In the absence of official civilian casualty figures, various groups and individuals have taken it upon themselves to document the loss of life and limb in Iraq, often under difficult and dangerous conditions.
When Ruzicka arrived in Iraq in April 2003, she immediately began recruiting teams of Iraqi researchers. The researchers, whose number grew to 150, conducted door-to-door surveys, gathering the names of individuals and the dates and circumstances of their death or injury.
Eventually, with the help of U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy from the opposition Democratic Party, Ruzicka succeeded in obtaining a record-setting 20 million dollars for Iraqi war victims and a tacit acknowledgement of responsibility by the U.S. military.
The cost of the Iraq war is expected to reach 207.5 billion dollars by the end of September, according to the National Priorities Project.
Amid the tributes to Ruzicka that were featured prominently in the U.S. media, no mention was made of the survey findings: 1,995 dead and 4,959 injured in the first 50 days of the invasion, according to Raed Jarrar, who directed volunteer survey teams in Baghdad and nine southern cities.
Yet the surveys, which put names and faces to thousands who would otherwise have been lumped together as âcollateral damageâ, were never meant to be scientific.
In contrast, the Lancet study, carried out by a team of researchers from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the Columbia University School of Nursing and Al-Mustansiriya University in Baghdad, was based on data from 988 randomly selected households across Iraq.
Its methodology has been validated by other public health experts, and its chief shortcoming -- extrapolation from a small sample size -- has been acknowledged by the researchers themselves, who have said that their results need verification.

A Christian colleague of mine asked me why the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) married Aaishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) when she was nine years old and he was nearly sixty, and was he intimate with her at that age or what? In fact I do not know how to respond to that. Answer :
Praise be to Allaah.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) married Aaishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) after he married Sawdah bint Zamah (may Allaah be pleased with her). She Aaishah was the only virgin whom he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) married. And he consummated the marriage with her when she was nine years old.
Among her virtues was the fact that the Revelation did not descend when he under one cover with any of his wives other than her. She was one of the dearest of all people to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and news of her innocence was revealed from above the seven heavens. She was one of the most knowledgeable of his wives, and one of the most knowledgeable women of the ummah as a whole. The senior companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to refer to her opinion and consult her.
With regard to the story of her marriage, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had grieved over the death of the Mother of the Believers Khadeejah, who had supported him and stood by his side, and he called the year in which she died The Year of Sorrow. Then he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) married Sawdah, who was an older woman and was not very beautiful; rather he married her to console her after her husband had died and she stayed among mushrik people. Four years later the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) married Aaishah (may Allaah be pleased with her), and he was over fifty. Perhaps the reasons for the marriage were as follows:
1 He saw a dream about marrying her. It is proven in al-Bukhaari from the hadeeth of Aaishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to her: You were shown to me twice in a dream. I saw that you were wrapped in a piece of silk, and it was said, This is your wife. I uncovered her and saw that it was you. I said, If this is from Allaah then it will come to pass. (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, no. 3682). As to whether this is a prophetic vision as it appears to be, or a regular dream that may be subject to interpretation, there was a difference of opinion among the scholars, as mentioned by al-Haafiz in Fath al-Baari, 9/181.
2 The characteristics of intelligence and smartness that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had noticed in Aaishah even as a small child, so he wanted to marry her so that she would be more able than others to transmit reports of what he did and said. In fact, as stated above, she was a reference point for the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them) with regard to their affairs and rulings.
3 The love of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) for her father Abu Bakr (may Allaah be pleased with him), and the persecution that Abu Bakr (may Allaah be pleased with him) had suffered for the sake of the call of truth, which he bore with patience. He was the strongest of people in faith and the most sincere in certain faith, after the Prophets.
It may be noted that among his wives were those who were young and old, the daughter of his sworn enemy, the daughter of his closest friend. One of them occupied herself with raising orphans, another distinguished herself from others by fasting and praying qiyaam a great deal They represented all kinds of people, through whom the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was able to set out a way for the Muslims showing how to deal properly with all kinds of people. [See al-Seerah al-Nabawiyyah fi Daw al-Masaadir al-Asliyyah, p. 711].
With regard to the issue of her being young and your being confused about that, you should note that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) grew up in a hot country, the Arabian Peninsula. Usually in hot countries adolescence comes early and people marry early. This is how the people of Arabia were until recently. Moreover, women vary greatly in their development and their physical readiness for marriage.
If you think may Allaah guide you that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not marry any virgin other than Aaishah (may Allaah be pleased with her), and that all his other wives had been previously married, this will refute the notion spread by many hostile sources, that the basic motive behind the Prophets marriages was physical desire and enjoyment of women, because if that was his intention he would have

US to Provide Three Billion Dollar Loan Guarantees to Israel

WASHINGTON (AFP) - The United States is to provide loan guarantees totaling three billion dollars to Israel for 2005-2008, a joint statement said.
A meeting of the US-Israel Joint Economic Development Group that ended Monday agreed that the guarantees be authorized in annual, one-billion-dollar tranches, according to the statement issued by the State Department. The mechanism was agreed upon following a US Congress decision to extend the period of a Loan Guarantee Program to Israel to 2008.
"The delegations agreed on the broad terms for release" of the 2005 tranche of one billion dollars, the statement said, adding that the remaining two billion dollars would be released based on economic reform and fiscal restraint by Israel.
At the meeting, the United States underscored the importance to Israel's economy of fiscal discipline, particularly limiting the growth of government expenditures, and continued economic reform, the statement said.
The Israeli delegation, it said, reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining its reform program in the years ahead. Capital market reform, monetary policy and labor market developments were also discussed at talks.
The Israeli delegation was chaired by Joseph Bachar, director general of the Israeli Finance Ministry, while the US delegation was led by Anthony Wayne, assistant secretary of state for economic and business affairs, who was joined by Randal Quarles, assistant secretary of treasury for international affairs.

I wonder what the American taxpayer has got to say about this. The American administration is propping up a country the legitimacy of it is questionable in the eyes of the Muslim World is the main cause of conflict in the Middle East. Its policy in the Middle East revolves around the interests of
Israel. As a result it cannot take an objective assessment of the situation there thus is on a collision course with the Muslim world. Which will spell disaster for the entire world.

Narrated Ibn Abbas (Radi Allah Anhu) and Abu Habba Al-Ansari (Radi Allah Anhu): The Prophet Muhammad (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, "At the night of Miraj Jibrael (alaihi salaam) (Gabriel) ascended with me to a place where I heard the cracking of the pens."Anas bin Malik (Radi Allah Anhu) said, "Allah's Messenger Muhammad (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, "Then Allah enjoined fifty (salat) on my followers, when I returned with this order of Allah, I passed by Musa (alaihi salaam) (Moses) who asked me, 'What has Allah enjoined on your followers?' I replied, 'He has enjoined fifty prayers (salat)
 on them.' Musa (alaihi salaam) (Moses) said, 'Go back to your Lord (and appeal for reduction) for your followers will not be able to bear it.' (So I went back to Allah and requested for reduction) and He reduced it to half. When I passed by Musa (alaihi salaam) (Moses) again and informed him about it, he said, 'Go back to your Lord as your followers will not be bear it.' So I returned to Allah and requested for further reductions and half of it was
 reduced. I again passed by Musa (alaihi salaam) (Moses) and he said to me: 'Return to your Lord, for your followers will not be able to bear it'. So I returned to Allah and He said, 'These are five Salat (Prayers) and they are all (equal to) fifty (in reward) for My Word does not change.'I returned to Musa (alaihi salaam) (Moses) and he told me to go back once again. I replied, 'Now I feel shy of asking my Lord again.' Then Jibrael
 (alaihi salaam) (Gabriel) took me till we reached Sidrat-ul-Muntaha (lote tree of the utmost boundary) which has shrouded in colors, indescribable. Then I was admitted to Paradise where I found small walls (made) of pearls and its earth was musk (a kind of perfume)."


And certainly We have made the Quran easy to understand" [54:17] . 







Whoever Fills His Muslim Brother Needs

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allah Anhu): Allah's Apostle (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, "A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of
 Resurrection."

Narrated Anas (Radi Allah Anhu): Allah's Apostle (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, "Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one. People asked, "O Allah's Apostle! It is all right to help him if he is oppressed, but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?" The Prophet said, "By preventing him from oppressing others."

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu): Allah's Apostle (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, "Whoever has oppressed another person concerning his reputation or anything else, he should beg him to forgive him before the Day of Resurrection when there will be no money (to compensate for wrong deeds), but if he has good deeds, those good deeds will be taken from him according to his oppression which he has done, and if he has no good deeds, the sins of the oppressed person will be loaded on him."

 A Sahabi came to prophet saw and asked Prophet saw to allow him to commit zeena
[illegal sexual intercourse].

 Muhammad saw understood where the sahabi was comming from, his needs, his
understading. He did not lectured him what Islam and Allah swt tells how a man
should stay away from everythign that leads him to committ zeena.

 Muhammad saw asked him a question instead HOw would you feel if somone wants 
to
committ zeena with you sister, or with your mother or with your daughter?

 later that sahabi reportd that in his life, he hated zeena the most since that 
day.

Utaibah loses his head by the dog of Allah
'Utaibah bin Abi Lahab once approached the Prophet (Peace be upon him) and most defiantly and brazenly shouted at him, "I disbelieve in: "By the star when it goes down." [53:1] and in "Then he (Gabriel) approached and came closer." [53:8] In other words: "I do not believe in any of the Qur'ân." He then started to deal highhandedly with Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and laid violent hand on him, tore his shirt and spat into his face but his saliva missed the Holy face of the Prophet (Peace be upon him). Thereupon, the Prophet (Peace be upon him) invoked Allâh's wrath on 'Utaibah and supplicated: "O Allâh! Set one of Your dogs on him."Allâh responded positively to Muhammad's supplication, and it happened in the following manner: Once 'Utaibah with some of his compatriots from Quraish set out for Syria and took accommodation in Az - Zarqa'. There a lion approached the group to the great fear of 'Utbah, who at once recalled Muhammad's words in
 supplication, and said: "Woe to my brother! This lion will surely devour me just as Muhammad (Peace be upon him) supplicated. He has really killed me in Syria while he is in Makkah." The lion did really rush like lightning, snatched 'Utbah from amongst his people and crushed his head.
