Hadith Qudsi 37:
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased
with him),
who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon
him) said: Allah
said:
I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye
has seen and
no ear has heard, not has it occurred to human heart.
Thus recite if
you wish (1): And no soul knows what joy for them (the
inhabitants
of Paradise) has been kept hidden (Quran Chapter 32
Verse 17).
(1) The words Thus recite if you wish are those of
Abu Harayrah.
It was related by al-Bukhari, Muslim, at-Tirmidhi and
Ibn Majah.

Hadith Qudsi 38:
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased
with him),

When Allah created Paradise and Hell-fire, He sent
Gabriel to
Paradise, saying: Look at it and at what I have
prepared therein for
its inhabitants. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
So he came to
it and looked at it and at what Allah had prepared
therein for its
inhabitants. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: So
he returned to
Him and said: By your glory, no one hears of it
without entering it.
So He ordered that it be encompassed by forms of
hardship, and He
said: Return to it and look at what I have prepared
therein for its
inhabitants. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: So
he returned to
it and found that it was encompassed by forms of
hardship (1). Then
he returned to Him and said: By Your glory, I fear
that no one will
enter it. He said: Go to Hell-fire and look at it and
what I have
prepared therein for its inhabitants, and he fount
that it was in
layers, one above the other. Then he returned to Him
and said: By
Your glory, no one who hears of it will enter it. So
He ordered that
it be encompassed by lusts. Then He said: Return to
it. And he
returned to it and said: By Your glory, I am
frightened that no one
will escape from entering it.
(1) The Arabic word used here is makarih, the
literal meaning of
which is things that are disliked. In this context
it refers to
forms of religious discipline that man usually finds
onerous.
It was related by Tirmidhi, who said that it was a
good and sound
Hadith (also by Abu Dawud and an-Nasa'i).

raised suspicion that Israel's official story did not hold water and notedthat Israel had yet to recover the tank that was demolished during theinitial attack in question.The Israelis so far have not been able to enter Aitaa al-Chaab to recover
the tank that was exploded by Hezbollah and the bodies of the soldiers thatwere killed in the original operation (this is a main indication that theoperation did take place on Lebanese soil, not that in my opinion it would
ever be an illegitimate operation, but still the media has been saying thatit was inside 'Israel' thus an aggression first started by Hezbollah).Before independent observers could organize an investigation of the
incident, Israel had already mounted a grisly offensive against Lebaneseinfrastructure and civilians, bombing Beirut's international airport, alongwith numerous highways and communication portals. Israel didn't need the
truth of the matter to play out before it invaded Lebanon. As with theUnited States' illegitimate invasion of Iraq, Israel just needed the propermedia cover to wage a war with no genuine moral impetus.

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: A soorah from the Quraan containing thirty verses will intercede for a man so that he will be forgiven. It is the soorah Tabaarak Alathi bi yadihil-mulk [i.e., Soorat al-Mulk]. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2891; Abu Dawood, 1400; Ibn Maajah, 3786. Al-Tirmidhi said, this is a hasan hadeeth. It was classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah in Majmoo al-Fataawa, 22/277,
and by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh Ibn Maajah, 3053. What is meant is that a person should read it every night, act in accordance with the rulings contained in it, and believe in the information mentioned in it. It was narrated that Abd-Allaah ibn Masood said: Whoever reads Tabaarak allaahi bi yadihil-mulk [i.e., Soorat al-Mulk] every night, Allaah will protect him from the torment of the grave. At the time of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) we used to call it al-maaniah (that which protects). In the Book of Allaah it is a soorah which, whoever recites it every night has done very well. Narrated by al-Nasaai, 6/179; classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb wal-Tarheeb, 1475. The scholars of the Standing Committee said: One this basis there is the hope that whoever believes in this soorah and reads it regularly, seeking the pleasure of Allaah, learning the lessons contained in it and acting in accordance with the rulings contained therein, it will intercede for him [in the Hereafter]. Praise be to Allaah. Firstly: The jinn are part of the creation of Allaah, and they are His slaves who are accountable and subject to commands and prohibitions, just like human beings. There are believers, disbelievers and evildoers among them. Those of them who do good will enter Paradise and those who do evil will deserve to be punished. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): And I (Allaah) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone) [al-Dhaariyaat 51:56] And Allaah says concerning the jinn (interpretation of the meaning): There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary; we are groups having different ways (religious sects). [al-Jinn 72:11] And of us some are Muslims (who have submitted to Allaah, after listening to this Quraan), and of us some are AlQaasitoon (disbelievers those who have deviated from the Right Path). And whosoever has embraced Islam (i.e. has become a Muslim by submitting to Allaah), then such have sought the Right Path. 15.And as for the Qaasitoon (disbelievers who deviated from the Right Path), they shall be firewood for Hell [al-Jinn 72:14, 15] With regard to their being accountable and subject to commands and prohibitions, the scholars are unanimously agreed that they are accountable. Some of the scholars suggested that the accountability to which they are subject is exactly the same as that to which human beings are subject, whilst others suggested that their accountability is in accordance with their abilities and capabilities. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: They are enjoined concerning basic matters and minor issues according to their nature; they are not like human beings in essence and reality, so the commands and prohibitions to which they are subject are not like those to which humans are subject, but they have in common with humans, the fact that they are subject commands and prohibitions, and rulings on what is permitted and what is forbidden. Concerning this I know of no dispute among the Muslims. End quote. Majmoo al-Fataawa, 4/233. With regard to their lives and dwelling places, they are like all other creatures, they have their own lives, they get married and produce offspring. Allaah says of Iblees (Interpretation of the meaning): Will you then take him (Iblees) and his offspring as protectors and helpers rather than Me while they are enemies to you? [al-Kahf 15:50] With regard to their dwellings, they often gather in ruins and unclean places like toilets and garbage dumps. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: These toilets are haunted (inhabited by devils), so when anyone of you goes to the toilet let him say, Aoodhu Billaahi min al-khubthi wal-khabaaith (I seek refuge Allaah from the male and female devils). Narrated by Abu Dawood, 6; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Silsilat al-Ahaadeeth al-Saheehah, 1070. With regard to the phrase al-khubthi wal-kabaaith (translated above as male and female devils), it has been suggested that al-khubth may mean evil and al-khabaaith may mean evil spirits, which includes both male and female devils. There is no doubt that the jinn die, for they are included in the words of Allaah (interpretation of the meaning): Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish [al-Rahmaan 55:26] It should be noted that the world of the jinn is the world of the unseen, and we do not know anything about it except that which Allaah has told us in His Book or on the lips of His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Based on this, we cannot say anything about them except that which has been narrated in the texts of Islam; anything other than that is hidden from us. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): And follow not (O man, i.e., say not, or do not, or witness not) that of which you have no knowledge. Verily, the hearing, and the sight, and the heart of each of those ones will be questioned (by Allaah) [al-Isra 17:36] For more information on this topic, see the book Aalim al-Jinn wal-Shayateen by Dr Umar Sulaymaan al-Ashqar. [Translators note: this book is available in English under the title The World of the Jinn and Devils in the Light of the Quraan and Sunnah, published as Vol. 3 of the Islamic Creed Series by the International Islamic Publishing House, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.] It should be noted that Allaah has given us information about the jinn and other creatures for our benefit, and what He has concealed from us we do not need to know. If knowing that was essential for us, Allaah would have told us. Hence we should not concern ourselves with such matters or look into the mysteries of the jinn which can only be known through revelation. What a person should ask about is his religion, its acts of worship and beliefs, what he should do, and other important matters which have been enjoined or forbidden, so that he can be a true slave of

Republican Senator Prepares Bill to Sue Bush

WASHINGTON (July 24) - A powerful Republican committee chairman who has led the fight against a tactic by President George W. Bush to avoid carrying out parts of laws he signs said Monday he would have a bill ready by the end of the week to allow Congress to sue Bush in federal court.
We will submit legislation to the United States Senate which will ... authorize the Congress to undertake judicial review of signing statements with the view to having the president's acts declared unconstitutional, Judiciary Committee Chairman
Arlen Specter said on the Senate floor.
Specter's announcement came the day that an American Bar Association task force concluded that by attaching conditions to legislation, the president has sidestepped his constitutional duties to sign a bill, veto it or take no action.
Bush has issued at least 750 signing statements during his presidency, reserving the right to revise, interpret or disregard laws on national security and constitutional grounds.
That nonveto hamstrings Congress because Congress cannot respond to a signing statement, said ABA president Michael Greco. The practice, he said, is harming the separation of powers.
Specter's committee came up with the 750 figure for the number of statutes passed by Congress and signed with reservations by Bush. The ABA estimated Bush has issued signing statements on more than 800 statutes, more than all previous presidents combined.
Signing statements have been used by presidents typically for such purposes as instructing agencies how to execute new laws.
Many of Bush's signing statements serve notice that he believes parts of bills he is signing are unconstitutional or might violate national security. The implication is that he would not be bound to execute those parts of the law.

A great many of those signing statements may have little statements about questions about constitutionality, White House spokesman Tony Snow said. It never says, `We're not going to enact the law.'
Specter's announcement intensifies his challenge of the administration's use of executive power on a number of policy matters. Of particular interest to him are two signing statements that challenged provisions of the USA Patriot Act renewal legislation, which Specter wrote, and legislation banning the use of torture against detainees.
Bush is not without congressional allies on the matter. Sen. John Cornyn, a former judge who like Bush is a Texas Republican, has said that signing statements are nothing more than expressions of presidential opinion that carry no legal weight because federal courts are unlikely to consider them when deciding cases that challenge the same laws.

below,please read the full hadith in the Bukhari and their various
interpretations. The position on any issue in Islam is not determined by a
single hadith or verse but by considering all relevant evidence. One
interpretation of the hadith under reference is that the Prophet (
sm )was joking with the women on Eid day ( Please see At Tahrirul Maraah fi
Ahdir Risalate , Abdul Halim Abu Shukkah, volume 1 )Quran says that Insan
has been created weak , so men have also weaknesses. On the otherhand the Quran
also says that all human beings have been created in most excellent form ( Sura
Teen ), so women and men have many excellences. It can not be said that women in
general are deficient than men, it will run counter to human equality narrated
in so many verses in the Quran.
The Prophet ( sm ) and many sahabas used to
consult women , this shows the honour the Prophet gave to the intellectual

I have allways sought the truth.
I was born and raised a baptist, but i've not been in a church in years!
I simply could not attend services with adulterers and substance
abusers.
The trinity was also troubling to me, if Jesus (pbuh) were one with the
creator, who was he praying and giving thanks to? In the famous
prayer let not my will, but thy will be done if they were one
wouldn't it be the same thing anyway?
Christians were given a very fine example by which to live and chose to
make an idol of it instead of holding themselves to those high
standards!
so i haven't worshipped with the hippocrites. instead quietly
worshipping and studying on my own. reading nearly everything on
religeon and spirituality that i could get my hands on. I've held onto
what rang true to me and rejected the rest, information is a powerful
thing!
What information i had on islam was periferal materal, sometimes useful
but often slanderous. so i recently sent for some brochures and a copy
of the Quran so that i could get the truth of islam from a reliable
source. having read the brochures and having read some random topic
passages, i've begun readin from the beginning and am so far at sura 6
al-anam. and reading also reading from the internet. I must say that I
like very much what i've read so far.
I try to hold myself to a high standard, so i am not yet ready to say
that I am a muslim. i do not yet know enough to do so. however, I have
allways followed the will of GOD as best as i knew how!
so now you know me so far.

Fazilat of Fasting In the Month of Rajab: Rajab marks the beginning of the spiritual season of every believer ending with the end of the fasting month of Ramadan with the Eid Al-Fitr. These three months are unmatched in their importance. Praise be to the Almighty and thanks to Him for granting us yet another
opportunity to cleanse ourselves of our sins and oversights.The Holy Prophet (SAW) has said:"Rajab is a great month of Allah, unmatched by any other month in the respect and significance (accorded to it); war with the infidels during this month is prohibited; Verily, Rajab is Allah's month, Sha'aban my month and Ramadan the month of my Ummah; whosoever fasts a day in the month of Rajab will be granted the great reward of Ridwan (an angel in heaven); the wrath of Allah shall be distanced and a door of the Hell shall be closed."Fasting is one of the most recommended acts during this spiritual season. It becomes Wajib during the month of Ramadan, but is highly recommended during the months of Rajab and Sha'baan. As will be noted from the Hadith above and others to follow, fasting, be it for only one day during these months, is rewarded with untold bounties. Hadrat
Salmaan Farsi narrates that the Final messenger of Allah (SAW) said that there is a day in the month of Rajab on which if a person fasts and does Qiyaamul Lail (night vigil) on that night, he will receive rewards like a person who fasts for 100 years and does Qiyaamul Lail for nights of 100 years. This night is the night of the 27th (Rajab) and the day of the 27th (Rajab). This is the day on which Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) was appointed to Messenger hood, (Ghuniyatut Talibeen, Tarteeb Shareef page 781).Hadrat Salmaan narrates that the Beloved of Allah, Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) said "O Salmaan, there is no Mumin (True Believer) and Muminah (Truly Believing Female) who performs 30 Raka'ah in the month of Rajab and in each Raka'ah recites Surah Al-Faatihah once, Surah Al-Ikhlaas 3 times, and Surah Al-Kafiroon 3 times that Allah does forgive them their sins and bestows rewards upon them as upon a person who has fasted a whole month. He becomes among
those who will be steadfast in their Salaat in the year which is to come. For him the deeds of the day are equal to that of the martyr. He will be raised with the Martyrs of the Holy Battle of Badr. For him is written for the fast of each day, one year's worship. His station is raised 1000 times higher. If he fasts the entire month of Rajab and he performs this (Above) Salaat, Allah will give him salvation from the Hell Fire, make Waajib for him, His Paradise and bestow His Nearness upon him. Hadrat Jibreel informed me "O Muhammad this is the sign between you and the Mushrikeen (Polytheists) and the Munaafiqeen (Hypocrites) because the Munafiq does not perform this Salaat."Hadrat Salmaan says, I beseeched "O Rasoolallah tell me when and how shall I perform this Salaat (Prayer)" He said "O Salmaan, perform 10 Raka'ah on the first of it (month of Rajab) and in each Raka'ah recite Surah Al-Faatihah once, Surah Al-Ikhlaas thrice and
Surah Al-Kafiroon thrice and after you do your Salaam (at the end of the Salaat) raise your hands and say: "There is no God but Allah, The One Who has no partners. To Him belong all His kingdom and all the praise, Who created life and death and Who is Alive without Death. From His hands (only) good is done and Who has Power over everything. Dearest Allah, no one can stop what You bestow and no one can give what You prevent. There is no one who can profit us except You the August among all." THE FINAL SHOWDOWN
Salam dear brothers and sisters, and friends in Islam,
I am sure we all are wondering why Israel is bombarding innocent civilians in
Lebanon.
Well, first, because it knows that it is not going to face even the slightest
resistance, not only from Lebanon, but from no one in the entire Arab and
Muslim world.
And secondly, Israel knows that it is much superior in warfare technology as
compared to its lethargic and more economic-driven Arab neighbours. So
they (Arabs) dont stand a chance, it assumes. And I think Israel is correct too
in its stance. Not that I support its view but because it is a ground reality
much
to our own faults and failings.
Plus with the USA the mother of all terrorists and terrorism on its back,
it
doesn't need to fear anyone.
A friend forwarded some pictures of the war in Lebanon to me. I am sorry that I
am unable to send them as attachments. I can, however, send them as
personal email attachments.
They surely are gruesome but these are all our brothers and sisters, and
children that are being so freely killed while the civilised world looks on
to
condemn the disproportionate use of power by Israel.
I am sorry that these pictures may disturb your appetite and comfort, and you
might turn your faces away in disgust, or even curse the one sending you
them. But my dears, it is a reality and is a wake-up call for all us Muslims.
Remember, that each one of you is an enemy to the Jews and Christians
even if he/she is a Muslim only by name (and not by practice). So be prepared
for the worst!
Look at Lebanon. Who could have said that it was (sorry for the tense) a
Muslim state. It was more westernised than the west itself, but it still had to
face the worst. So even if you are conservative and just busy in your salaat
and tasbeeh, you won't be spared.
But why the innocent children and women and people, I ask myself so
foolishly like all you do so innocently.
Remember, that a nation is responsible as a whole for its sins and
wrondoings, and lethargy. So when it (evil) comes, it doesn't see who is good
and who is bad, who is innocent and who is not. It simply doesn't have the
time to make the good and bad groups
While Israel and its likes keep on building up their arsenal for such times, we
Muslim states are busy in improving our economies. But alas!!! We have
failed even on that very front.
The Holy Qura'an clearly commands the Muslims to prepare for them all your
might, and might you, the Book is not requesting you, it is commanding you.
So listen to the Eternal Book.
First it was Iraq, then Afghanistan and now Lebanon. Who knows which one
of use is next. Just by condemning the killings and mass murders committed
by Israel through strikes and protests wont do. It is time we stood up and
faced
our enemy.
Let's repeat our glorious history!

Everyone remaining in southern Lebanon
will be regarded as a terrorist, Israel's justice minister said
yesterday as the military prepared to employ huge firepower from
the air in its campaign to crush Hizbollah.
Haim Ramon issued the warning as the Israeli government decided against
expanding ground operations after the death of nine soldiers in fighting on
Wednesday.
What we should do in southern Lebanon is employ huge firepower
before a ground force goes in, Mr Ramon said at a security cabinet
meeting headed by Ehud Olmert, the prime minister. Everyone in southern Lebanon is a terrorist
and is connected to Hizbollah. Our great advantage vis-a-vis Hizbollah is our
firepower, not in face-to-face combat.
Mr Olmert promised that the army would
continue toward the established goals.
Mr Ramon's comments suggested that civilian casualties in Lebanon, which
stand at about 600 after 16 days of bombardment, could rise yet higher.
The government's unrelenting line has the backing of the Israeli media,
which are demanding a harsh response to an ambush in the Hizbollah stronghold
of Bint Jbeil, in which eight
soldiers died.
The country's biggest-selling paper, Yedioth Ahronoth, said the army
had raised the threshold of response to Katyusha rockets.
In other words: a village from which rockets are fired at Israel will
simply be destroyed by fire, it said.
This decision should have been made and executed after the first
Katyusha. But better late than never.
Three divisions of reserve soldiers, up to 15,000 men, are to be called
up.
Almost 50 Hizbollah missiles landed in northern Israel
yesterday, wounding four people and bringing the total number of rockets fired
into the country to about 1,400.

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also said, Whoever
calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who
follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all.
