RE: Boycott Israel [IslamCity] The Prophets (Sallallaahu Alayhi W asallam) Prayer - according to the Hanafi Madhab

Assalaamu 'alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Baraktuh,

As you have written, the exerpt is from Sayyid Sabiq's Fiqh us Sunnah.
There are more than just a few hadith which the Ahnaf use in order to place
the hands in Salat (over 20 infact) - and frankly all of the four Mujtahid
Imam's have their valid reasons for following a certain way. Which is correct?
They all are since they are people who have reached the status of Mujtahid
Mutlaq or similar.
Yes Sayyid Sabiq's book may be useful for some matters, but it is not the
book that covers everything in detail and Sheikh Wahbi Zuhayli's collection is
far more expansive - though it's only available in Arabic Turkish -
unfortunately we have alot of books on Fiqh not available in English - such as
the great classic works, so we tend to rely on the Saudi books more so than the
others.

  Wassalaamu 'alaikum

According to the Hanifiyyah, the hands are to be placed below the navel, and

these two opinions. The correct position is somewhere in the middle - to be

peace, placed his hands on his chest. Reported Hulb at-Ta'i, I saw the
Prophet, upon whom be peace, praying with his right hand over his left upon his
chest above the elbow. This is related by Ahmad and at-Tirmidhi, who grades it
as hassan.
Reported Wa'il ibn Hajr, Once when I prayed with the Prophet, upon whom be
peace, he placed his right hand over his left upon his chest. The report is
