Example: You have a table where only for the outer border a border with a border style is set. ╔╤╤╤╗ ╟┼┼┼╢ ╟┼┼┼╢ ╚╧╧╧╝ Select the table and select NONE (border line style). → The border lines are deleted (not only a style of the lines!). Now again select a border line style. What do you expect? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.

Create a new text document in OpenOffice Writer 4.1.3. > 2. Create a table in this text document by clicking Table>Insert>Table > 3. Pick any dimensions for the table. Test this by clicking one of the cells inside the > table, using Ctrl-A to select the table (if there is text in the cell, you > may need to press Ctrl-A again to highlight the entire table). Then, using > the Table pop-up menu, change the "Line Style" and "Line Color (of the > border)". > 5. Next, use this same pop-up menu to change the "Line Style" to "none". > This should properly remove the border of the table. There may be a faint > grey border still visible, but this is for editing purposes only. > 6. Once again, use the Table pop-up menu to try and change the table weight > back to something other than "none". Here, OpenOffice Writer will not > properly add the border back to the table. As a work around if you click the border icon on the floating tool bar (top line fourth icon from left) you can select the border style that you want and it will apply to the selected cells. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.

[Issue 127365] Table border weight and color cannot be edited once border is set to "none"
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127365 --- Comment #3 from mroe--- I don't know if this really is a bug. The dropdown icons for the border line works like the fields for the same functions in the table dialogue. So one must define at first, which lines should be changed. Selecting first the border type/lines, then one can define the attributes for it. Maybe it could be a good task to change the order of the dropdown icons: Borders | Line Style | Line Color -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
