12th March 17 I still find the paintbrush really frustrating and have resorted
to saving in Libre Office, opening in MS Word, using their paintbrush, then
closing and reopening in Libre Office.

I need the paintbrush to give some characters or a paragraph ALL the formats of
the text I've selected from.

This means with characters, if the original characters selected are Arial 10
green italic bold header, then the target should become Arial 10 green italic
bold header.

With a paragraph, if the original is indented 2.333 cm, with a yellow image
bullet point, arial 10.5, bold, right justified, green text, tabs set at a
selected distance, whatever formatting it is, then that's how the target
becomes.

The Libre Office paintbrush really doesn't do that.
