Hello Prateek, I would think it much easier and perhaps also safer, just to merge the settings? If jaws 12 operates the same regarding that than version 11, just go into the contextual menu with jaws key with j, arrow down to utilities where you enter and arrow down to merge and enter. Can I also simply copy over the voiceprofiles.ini file from my current JFW11 to the freshly installed JFW12 settings folder and thus start right off with all my voices and choice of default voice profile without having to adjust the voice settings all over again using the JFW12 voice menus? finally what is the JAWSMemDmp folder I find at the same location as ENU and the .ini file stated above? Should I also blindly copy this folder over to JFW12 settings folder and replace if some default folder by this name already exists in the freshly installed JFW12 settings folder? [JAWS-Users] using power braille in Jaws 11 or later
hey i'm using power braille with Jaws. and it can not work since Jaws 11. but, when I choose the port for Jaws. it has LPT1 , LPT2 and LPT3. none of them can owrk. how how can I fix this? Hi everyone, I have already installed the real speak with my Windows 7 computer. When I purchased Openbook 9, I read that I didn't need to install them again, however, when opening Openbook 9, I am unable to find how to make them work. Any ideas would be appreciated. My wife had the same problem. It said the program couldn'tr recognize them. She ahs Realspeak with Jaws 11. [JAWS-Users] making a call with google voice and jaws
Hello list, I'm playing with google voice and cannot for whatever reason make a call through my computer. Having google voice call my cell or home phone and then connecting me is no problem, but with the headphones and microphone... no dice. I installed the voice plug in and yes, I have checked that the volume is up and that the microphone is properly working. I go to the voice.google.com site and either select a number from my contact or just type in the number I want to call. Then I go into the combo box to select which phone/ option I want to use to call with and I choose the google talk one and then press enter on the connect toggle button. Jaws will read it saying calling you, but I get no indication that anything is happening on my end and eventually, it just goes back to the connect button. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong? The help section says that I've pretty much got everything write on what I'm supposed to do, but I'm wondering if there's some inaccessible feature or aspect to it that I'm not aware of? Thanks. Hi there. I just tried Jaws 12 with Itoons 10. I found that once I've tabbed to the part of the page where the different links for the song you want are Jaws locks up. Then after a while, it works again. Be fore I tell FS about it, I just wanted to see if this has happened to any one else. So has it? When I'm typing a new message in Outlook Express, it sometimes suddenly starts reading the whole message I was just typing and then the Forms Mode goes on and off when I hit the space bar and Enter and left-click. What is it that I accidentally hit when this happens?
